Bar a mad 20 mins I thought the control was pretty much there yesterday. 20 mins under the cosh that all started from individual mistakes. 
A call for more possession? 61% is more than enough. Second most in the league yesterday, far more than any of our rivals. Third highest possession in the league overall this year, I don’t think that’s a problem. 
Theres no doubt a few are ball bagged but look at the team for what it is. Old men and inconsistent kids. Mistakes will happen and teams will have a period in the ascendancy, we’ve just got to cut out the lapses at the back.

Imagine this was the line up today and five or six key players were rested and we drew 0-0 or lost 0-1.
Would the fans be sympathetic? Quite the opposite.
I don’t think Warne can really win in this situation. I certainly don’t blame him for playing as strong a line up as possible.

In the league, we’ve won 11 out of 14 under Warne when scoring first.
We lost v Port Vale and drew v Burton and Shrewsbury.
Perhaps it’s less about control and more about teams punishing mistakes?
Shrewsbury did that today. Barnsley did it last week. Wycombe did it a few weeks back.
This group is a good group but it’s a slog of a season and at any level, there is only so much you can get away with.
We’ve been sloppy, but it happens to even the very best over a long season.

What? Collins? I hear you say.
 I think in an away game of this magnitude we will need our grafters and we’ll need McGoldrick collecting deep from the midfield. Stick Collins up top to battle with their centre backs and let McGoldrick pick up the pieces. Collins will battle back to help a midfield that’s not aggressive.
Also, Dobbin put over some cracking crosses yesterday and we only really had Didzy in the box. I’m not saying Collins will score them but he’s got a better chance than most.

Be watching this one with a vested interest,  may even want Derby to win.

Morning Rams fans. Argyle fan in peace here. Regarding parking at Home Park, as someone has already advised, the car park outside the stadium fills very early (and quickly) so you’d need to be in and parked up at least 4 hours before ko - getting out after the game can take forever due to their being only a couple of exits. As another option, you could try street parking in or around nearby St Levan Road, about a 5 minute walk away from the stadium. I’d avoid Seagrave Road (which leads up to the car park) as the Traffic Stasi can be very active when there’s a game on. Anyway, safe journey down guys and enjoy your visit - you’ll find us a pretty decent bunch. Unfortunately, I can’t attend as I have to attend a birthday meal being given for me - as an ST holder this was one game I’d been looking forward to especially having been a Derby resident for several years in the late 80s (Uttoxeter Old Road). Good luck in the play-offs!

Tuesdays ref was far more consistent with both sides and ran the game better then today's ref

If the ref was your daughter and she’d dedicated her career to doing well in an industry dominated by men, and the 6th post on a thread dedicated to her was asking if she had nice tits, I think your attitude would be different. If speaking out against that is woke, I make no apology for it.

Still think he was vastly under-appreciated as a left-back for us. 
In his first two seasons he was the best arguably the best left-back in the division, only Charlie Daniels really would also be in contention.
He came back from his first two ACL injuries to win his place back from Olsson who had been Blackburn’s POTS before joining us.
He then fought off £3,000,000 signing Scott Malone, who himself was coming off of being named in the league TOTS and a season in the Prem to keep his starting place before his third ACL.
I never got it. He’s one of those players that when he has a stinker he has a STINKER but they were always only ever once or twice a season.

Good job, way your crowds would drop with relegation. Dont get this media thing about the 'great' Forest fans. The place is three times bigger than Derby or Leicester and both get bigger crowds. Never has been a football city, Clough used to moan about them year they won it. Sold out for cup matches but couldnt fill it for league. . . . except when Derby filled it

Definitely the best ref we’ve had this season, physically fit and actually able to keep up with play which the majority of her male counterparts seem unable to do. Let the game flow, used her cards when she needed to, always had the game under control. Her Linos were s*** sadly, and she didn’t really clamp down on the time wasting but no male ref has done that this season.
She was excellent and hopefully the trailblazer for other female refs to follow her. Sadly I don’t think she’ll be at this level for long, she’ll be fast tracked to the prem and when she’s not reffing she can get in Stockley Park and sort those VAR idiots out. 

He was doing a brilliant job tidying up the second balls and giving possession back to us. It's often an underrated job that is very important. 

He put the cross in for the first goal.
 

Im not sure that Warne doesn't think Rooney is capable.  I think it's more a case that Smith hasn't really made any big mistakes and looked like he needed a rest.

Played really well at Alfreton last night. Held up and laid off the ball very well against some big defenders.
