Fully agree. NML getting the ball deep and turning had them plopping bricks. Didzys movement almost makes up for his old man legs when he's playing up top, he breaks the line more than anyone else we have.

Big shouts out for Conor, Didzy, of course and Birdy , who looks back to his old self, i want to give a special mention for Curtis Davies , an absolute giant at the back last night , especially after they scored.

We have Burton (H) Pompey (H) and Wendy (A)
I give Posh 3 points from that. We need 4 to go ahead of them. That would also see Wycombe needing 3 wins (Lincoln and Cheltenham (H) and Pompey (A) ) to pass both of us. Beat both Burton and Pompey and we're there. Easy to write, harder to complete.
A hatful against Burton would also see us gain a better GD than Posh.
Quietly confident we'll make the playoffs. Warne says if we get into them we'll win them. 
If we get the chance to go up, we take it. Simple. 
Promotion itself will not give us a pointer to how we might perform next season in the SBC.  We have no idea who PW wants to keep, who he will sell, who he will give away. We have no idea if the planned EFL review of the business plan will see restrictions eased. I don't think they'll be lifted. Promotion first and then approach next season second. Rosenior put together a squad that has competed. Given the time he had, hardly anybody expected us to be where we are. 3 (or 5 or 6) games to go and promotion is still a possibility. I had expected midtable obscurity so I'm well happy. No saying Warne can't do the same in the SBC but this time with a full pre season. No next season predictions from me until we see what the squad looks like.

Derby fans were great all game. The ground doesn't retain noise very well because of the half stand with a railway line underneath it,but they were good all game. I was sat with family in the middle of the main stand(half fan/leg surgery etc etc), and you could hear both ends going for it, the big bank is mostly teenage lads on their start of following football journey so it's forgivable that they ran out of puff towards the end. Was good to see the Derby fans mingling with the exeter fans before the game as well, no stupidity which was good.
The 2 standing parts for the away end are in two because they bought it second hand from Barnet and transported it down by lorry!

Selfishly, for me, hope it to happen again next season. The away end had a great atmosphere tonight. A great showcase for league 1 fans

Yes get in that is black and white fighting spirt we come out with all three points 4 points out of 6 but I will take it. We are still fighting for play offs hopeful now that will get us playing like we did during massive unbeaten run.

Credit to Warne and his staff for their part in the result last night. Before the game a few questioned the lineup, and a few of the recent concerns were present regarding patterns of play and a clear plan for the side in the first half. Whatever was said at half time seems to have contributed to a much improved performance in the second half with better passing, movement, confidence and intent from the side, similar to the first half at home to MK Dons. 
Does/should he stick with that same side at home to Burton? We could really do with building back to a 90 minute performance and carrying momentum into these final 3 (hopefully 6) games. 

Not quite sure any manager would have that mindset. You could quite easily say well what if we get off to a bad start next season in League 1. "Blowing" a play-off place and then starting poorly would be worse. Getting promoted in not even your first season when you haven't been able to sign a single player would probably be his career highlight so far.
For what it's worth, I think another season in League One where we can build more realistically under our restrictions, rather than having to scrap around and likely struggle next season will stand us better in the long run, but I don't think Warne will be happy if we don't go up this season.

Trying to get Dizzy to sign another contract is a must. I would also give Fozzy another year or two (great squad player and to provide some stability). Would love to see us sign Roberts on a permanent if we can.

It doesn't matter, a hat-trick against Liverpool is to be cherished. It's great to see that the younger academy teams seem to have been less affected by the administration than the under 21s.
 

Am impressive result considering we had an U16(?) CB partnered with a CM, and an U16 CM infront of them. Three U16s came off the bench too.
