We will get automatics! and we will get promoted!!

We have it in us to pull these remaining results off but we need to get behind the team 🐏

Not being hysterical at every miss kick and bad result!

Not using ridiculous and visceral vocabulary such as "Bottlers" and start praising the players you don't build player confidence and motivation by talking down about them, they are humans too! They read social media and stuff online. Maybe even this forum? think about that

I've cant believe how reactionary this fanbase has become! I get the performances haven't been total football but we aren't there yet! we are a work in progress, you know?

We will deal with next season when we get there but for now, 3 games to go let's get out there and support and clap the lads on and off the pitch, comment on the socials with words of motivation and togethernes ❤ that's what's gonna bring us over the line.... plus I'm sick of looking at heaps of negativity on here 🤣

We are 2nd , remember. Start of the season we'd have paid money to be here 🙌🏻

and vibes are real, they'll feed of us it's all frequencies and vibrations ✌

Come on Derby, time for promotion 💪 🐏 ️

  3. Wow, was at the game last night first chance I’ve had to catch up on here

Screaming The Help GIF Some of you  really got in a state didn’t you, yes the performance wasn’t great but we still got a point , yes it gives Bolton and Peterborough hope but we are still second, the lads need all our support at the minute , the fans at Wycombe last night were magnificent btw, we all knew it was going to be a rollercoaster and there are some twists left

The manager and players know what they have to do and I would rather be in our position than the other two , on to Saturday and with a few more bodies back I expect a reaction to last night , all is not lost , let’s all do our best for our club COYR

The Flint Cottage isn't bad for a drink however I don't remember if it does food. You have the Falcon which is a Wetherspoons if you want a pint and something to eat and thats at the bottom of the hill and towards the middle of town. Bear in mind, you'll have a taxi journey to get to the ground from the Station, I wouldn't walk it as it's too far away

Just making our way to the Hourglass pub , about 10/15 mins from ground, aim to stay there now till time to go to the ground , few Rams fans milling about in town all in good spirits COYR

Goals are randomly distirbuted (Poisson). The number of goals per near-goal events (the accurate measure of quality in an ideal model, NOT chances) is in the long run the same for every team, Derby or Man City, being off that in any given period is chance. The discrepancies you mention are mainly not due to the imperfections of the models (and they are imperfect) but the even bigger imperfections of the goal system as a metric (binary, most events ignored, no specificity).

A simpler way to show this: Assume two equal teams, playing at exactly the same level all the time. If goals weren't random they would draw every single time. More often than not they won't.

I am not mixing anything up, just saying that this is one instance where xG is not a reliable performance indicator, as in a goal being the maximum in performance scales (perfect attacking/worst defending).

Also not sure why you think it's either goals or chances (for evaluating not xG), ideally you want an analogue 0 (no threat) to 1 (goal), including execution and all non-shot events. In fact some later models use post-shot ball tracking or even goals as a 'boost'.

Just my observation on some Sibley bashing I've seen, and especially wrt the goal.....

Kamara is the form winger in the division at the minute and overall I think it was a fairly even battle between them, not bad for a full time left back, but a makeshift one, come on, give him some credit!

I'd argue that for the goal he'd held his line and anticipated Kamara running behind into an offside position...... if Cashin hadn't have been quite so tight Bishop may not have flicked the ball past him, or he could have intercepted it, if Nelson wasn't too deep Kamara would definitely have been offside instead of one of those VAR questionable ones, why was Nelson so deep I hear no one asking as it's easier to Sibley bash for 'losing his man', which I think is a tad unfair.....

    Just my opinion.

Think Louies doing a fantastic job for us at the moment , handled Kamala relatively well , quietened him down considerably with that bone crunching tackle he made
