From the looks out it's going to be kids out there, and a wookie manager.
Pointless killing their confidence, take the protests outside after the game.
That's probably pointless too mind, seeing as the owner wants out as much as the fans want him gone.
Probably best to assemble around the NewCo and take if from there.

I hope we can somehow refrain from making the atmosphere toxic. There's no need for protests, Mel clearly wants to sell up ASAP so there's no message to convey there. The players we have don't deserve this situation. There's simply no need.
It's a sad situation but I'm not angry. I just want it resolved. It would be a waste to get angry

I was born in Hull in 1970 and lived in Cottingham, just outside Hull and cried on my 13th birthday when the family moved to Aberdeen because of my dad's new job in 1983.
I was brought up watching Hull City at Boothferry Park and watching Hull Kingston Rovers at Craven Park. My dad still cheers on for the Tigers and the Robins and the rest of the family all have a soft spot for both teams. Watching Hull City as a very young boy actually prepared me for being a Derby County fan, because incredibly they were worse than us in the late 70's, and 80's etc when supporting Derby made us stronger for the current times.
I picked Derby County out of the paper with my eyes closed, when my older brother persuaded me not to support Liverpool who I'd just got into, I remember my Grandad Chick had given me a black and white photo of the Liverpool team, and I enjoyed watching them play, when I stayed up late on a Saturday night watching Match of The Day and awaiting my parents to come home from The National pub in Hull, usually with food from the Chinese Take Away for everyone's supper, so yeah I was encouraged by my big brother to avoid supporting the so called big teams being supported by others, at school at the time, mainly Man Utd, Liverpool and a lot of Leeds Utd, around Hull at the time, so around 1976, I blindfolded picked out Derby County, and I've followed probably more downs than ups ever since, unfortunately with the blind fold off!
My older brother is a Chelsea fan and my younger brother is a Wolves fan and we all love our football.
A few Aberdeenshire Rams, well mainly 1 in @2tupspost on here, I think @Ramadonna9 reads now and again, as does @Rampianand @campavanram and @Elgin_Ram is in the Clan, and @CWC1983probably remembers me from the Westhill Inn, when I grew up in Westhill, Abedeenshire. Their are Rams fans up here in Stonehaven, nearby in Montrose, in Fraserborogh, in Elgin etc and we have many others up here in Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh etc.
I now stay out in Inverurie and I take my two boys to watch Derby County when I can, well the eldest one has been inside Pride Park, the youngest one only outside Pride Park, but both who at the moment have opted to support Liverpool, and the eldest went to Wembley with me to the Aston Villa game, well I still have plenty of time on my hands, hopefully, for my two boys to see sence!
I hate to read on here when Derby fans are falling out with one another and calling one another names, and I hate to read on here when Derby fans are calling their own players, managers, coaches, staff etc all sorts of names also. Get behind them, not against them.
    Hope Not Hate.

Clive Baker at 5'9" when he played for Ipswich is I think the smallest in the PL era, as you say though Given was on the smaller side for a keeper especially as when he was coming through there was a rush of getting giant Scandinavian keepers in for cheap. I'm the same age group as Given and 5' 10 1/2" and was told at 17 that I was too small and was released from a league club, my best mate who was at Derby at the same time was a bit smaller than me and was also released albeit a year later.
You have to be pretty special to be on the shorter side and make it, eg. Given, Casillas.

He's currently doing his B Licence under the Player2Coach initiative, will have his UEFA B by end of year.

I may have the specifics wrong, but he's working on a course it may be the FA Level 3 (UEFA B) or the FA Level 4 (UEFA A) that he's doing, and the Player2coach seems to be a BAME course, but had dinner with a St. Georges Park coach last week who is a friend of Waynes and he told me that he will have the badge required for the Champ by Christmas and it was an accelerated course like the Player2Coach scheme.

Not explicitly mentioned but given that it's suggested that Rooney walks if we are demoted I would assume that it all hinges on being a Championship club this season, given that the parties involved are all close to Wayne. Although that is my interpretation of what I've been told.

For what it's worth there is confidence that we will not be demoted.

Take this as it's meant, this has come via two pretty influential figures in DCFC history over the past 30 years, not claiming to be ITK and am just repeating what I've been told from sources that I rate highly.
Been told today that it is a Washington DC based consortium/investors that are behind the bid for the club, knew Rooney when he played for DC United, and are just waiting to see which division we are in next season, it's expected to be the Championship.  Led to believe that one of the investors is an agent.
IF we are relegated then Rooney walks, that is not thought to be expected though.
All ready to go and waiting on the EFL appeal and conformation of Championship status.

No idea of money to spend, but given the past few years spending then maybe that doesn't really matter and frugality could be the key.
