It's actually more stupid than you thought. Netherlands is no longer a dark market country ?

“Now tell them the preferred bidder will be announced within 10 days”

B4 is single, he likes his freedom.. but I saw this earlier...
Made me think of 'Confessions of a window cleaner'
....so maybe you don't need to worry about B4!

My post was very tongue in cheek. He wasn't a world beater, but if he had been signed for a better price (which wasn't his fault) he would have been much better appreciated. Many have said since he left that he is the type of player that we need now.

He gets a lot of bad press but on the whole he wasn't the worst signing we've ever made by a long way. Yes he had games were whatever he tried just didn't come off but he never hid in games. He always showed the grit and determination that we need in our current predicament.
I admire that quality in him to always put his head above the parapet. Quietly did a lot of work for local charity too apparently. Will always be welcome back at Pride Park for me.

It’s true Bradley cost a lot of money for an average player but that night at Old Trafford he was a man possessed, a beast.

I was quite happy with that one at the time. Although to be fair, I knew both Butterfield and Blackman were dog poo long before we signed them. I watched with despair as we competed with Sheff Wednesday for a bloke who hadn't scored in 10 games and was out of contract in 6 months. First 1 million then 1.5, then finally 2.7 and doubling of original wage offer to match it no doubt. Hope he enjoyed us paying for his 4 year European sight seeing tour.
Feel a bit better now.

Sorry, not good on downloading stuff, but just playing Procol Harum songs and remembering their wonderful front man, Gary Brooker who died yesterday. A Whiter Shade of Pale was their best known creation, but they continued to write and tour for another 40 years, even performing with some of the country's top orchestras. My sister was a huge fan of Procol Harum and attended concerts whenever she could. Despite a large audience at concerts, Gary would always find time to go and see my nephew who was in a wheelchair and have a chat with him. He also received a Queen's medal for his charity work. He was a good and kind man and we are grateful that he died peacefully at home with his wife, Frankie and family. Thanks for the good times and the brilliant music, Gary! XXXX

Just banged out a few chords though. I'd have been more impressed if he'd actually blown his trumpet.

I dont recall a time as a Derby fan in my lifetime where the crowd has been so unified and in touch with the players.
This group is a cobbled together hodge podge of old men (in footballing terms), kids and leftovers from a failed regime. Despite that I absolutely love them. If someone had told me six months ago that this season with administration and a 21 point deduction would be one of my favourite ever I'd have laughed in your face.
I love this squad and management. Even if we go down I'll have a special place in my DCFC heart for this group. They care, they get it. I just hope we get the ending we want. If not, we faught to the end.
