I’ve read every single post and have found it fascinating! Fair play to all of you, you could have escaped with a reasonable excuse!
As for me, I’m boring as I was born in Derby 35 years ago and still live in Derby and probably always will!

Born in Bromley, Kent and then lived in Bedford (rugby town) until adulthood. All of my mates supported big teams, as Bedford has no decent football teams locally (Luton at a push…)
Dad born and bred Derby, and his family, so it was a case of glory support like my mates, go local to my birth (Crystal Palace) or support the Rams. And you know what, in my 30+ years of watching football, I’ve never once regretted choosing Derby.

Before you march over to your normal seat and give the occupant an evil stare (or worse), just remember their normal seat may have been taken by somebody else. I couldn’t get my usual and so picked one up a few seats along. Not ideal but no big deal for one game.

I had the same thing and was able to resolve this by making sure the Print Quality was set to High. You do this within the Properties > Print Quality like the attached image.
Hope this works for you too ?

If someone had chosen to sit in my seat, I wouldn't have cared, I'd have just chosen somewhere else...... but then I'd probably be in someone else's seat ?
I've had season tickets all over the ground so that probably explains why I'm not too attached (to the seat or the people around me) but I can see why it would annoy other people and the club should really have allowed you to reserve your own season ticket seat from last season to avoid some people being disappointed.
As others have said, it wouldn't be hard and I don't buy that people have been furloughed as an excuse. They must have a software system in place to manage all our user details which would (with 100% certainty) include our seat numbers from last season.
Think about it.... the system knows that we're season ticket holders otherwise we wouldn't be able to buy tickets today! Therefore, if there's a check in the system on whether or not we were season ticket holders last season, why not include the seat details in the verification process?
It doesn't make sense.... but then again I'm not bothered at all ? ?

It would appear that insufficient due diligence was carried out on the prospective sales to BZI and Erik Alonso.
Who carried out due diligence and what measures have been put in place to ensure that we are not sold to such an unprofessional outfit?

Can you give a cast iron guarantee you'll continue to fund the club with the minimum amount needed to ensure survival as a club, until any takeover how ever long that will be?

Well said but there is not a lot of difference between history and nostalgia. Nostalgia is a bittersweet yearning for the past. It's sweet because it allows us to relive good times and bitter because we recognise that those times can never return.

Longing for our own past is referred to as personal nostalgia, while longing for a past era is termed historical nostalgia. Right, enough of this heavy stuff, I’m off to town to quaff a pint of foaming ale at the Blackfriar, where I can immerse myself in both personal nostalgia and historical nostalgia because that was my local for a few years back in the 80s. Great times (for me but not for the Rams) Cheers!

We're all different mate. I was born in '86 yet love history from long before I was born but also love to reminisce about my own childhood memories which is why I bought the '95-'97 shirt for possibly over the odds.

Worth amplifying the words of the report, "The sight of the players when they appeared on the green sward was a pretty one, quite artistic in fact. All the world and his wife are acquainted with the neat and natty dress of the Woodsiders, all pink and white, like the face of an English girl, beautiful and blushful. The attire of the Derbyshire men was a change. Brown on one side, and green on the other, with a connecting trimming of gold, from the neck to the waist. The spectacle presented was an interesting one enough, forming a pretty contrast to the dress of the Leverites".
Imagine the scene, pink and white inter-mingled with brown, green and yellow, like a field of liquorice allsorts, watched over by a crowd of 2,000. How apposite that Bakewell was the standout Derby player.
