First thing I'd do is question your arithmetic ?

mike93rh reacted to G STAR RAM in Crowd-funding to keep us playing?
Spot on.
I'd have no problem crowd funding to keep backroom staff in a job but if you think I'm crowdfunding someone's wages who earns more in a month than I earn a year...no chance!

mike93rh reacted to Carl Sagan in Crowd-funding to keep us playing?
I'm not interested because every single Derby player is a lot richer than me, so why should I pay their inflated wages? It's not at all a criticism of the Derby players. You take what you can get. But the football world is crazy. I wish I had their money.

Unbelievable. I'm totally gobsmacked .... What a pro our manager is...... Mel is a disgrace I'm afraid . It really is Wayne Rooney's Derby county now

mike93rh reacted to Yani P in Mel Morris interview on Radio Derby 1pm
Like the football finance guy said...Morris could continue funding the club if he chose to.. he had the finances to carry on for as long as required
He chose to throw the club and staff under a bus..

mike93rh reacted to Jimbo Ram in Mel Morris fan club
This has been a slow burner for me....but I am now really angry at his actions. The vast majority of his wealth is still in tact but he lets the Rams go to the wall through his own incompetence. Despicable......

I bought a Mel Morris fan, and it's useless.
All it does is blow hot air constantly.

mike93rh reacted to QuitYourJibbaJivin in Derby County Administration (with the slight possibility of Liquidation still there)
Wouldn’t that negate the very (very) few positives that admin brings? If Mel was to fund the admin, there would be no point putting us into admin and incurring a 12 point deduction. Also if Mel was funding the admin, any buyers he spoke about would just sit back and let him cover the bills for a few more months.

mike93rh reacted to jono in Mel put us in Administration because......
He’s messed up on a monumental scale. Covid was the nail in the coffin he’d already made on the advice of others that he was too vain or foolish to question.
it’s going to go on for 3 years or more to know where we stand even if we manage to survive.
The EFL are not a worthy representative organisation
The rules and regs as they are currently constructed are full of flaws and loopholes. They are policed unevenly and in a way the encourages self interest rather than equitable solutions
Mel’s windfall when involved in world changing industries like cyber dating and mobile gaming convinced him he was a skilled entrepreneur rather than a bit of a chancer with an eye to an opportunity.

mike93rh reacted to curb in 100 days to Save Our Soul
Losing our ‘young talent’ is the least of our worries, there’s a real danger that there won’t be a club for them to play for.

mike93rh reacted to Sheff Ram in Rate Mels tenure from 1 to 10
You've saved me typing my thoughts out so thank you. Yup, you've summed it up for me as well.
With football you get remembered for where you finished and Mel has led us to the rim of the abys. The fact he has throw significant amounts of cash at the club to achieve much less than others with less resource means he has to go down as one of the worst chairman in the History of our beloved club.

mike93rh reacted to SillyBilly in Rate Mels tenure from 1 to 10
I'd have scored a point if I believed Mel had some humility. The latest Club statement confirms he doesn't.
I personally never liked the fact our chairman courted as much publicity as he did. He enjoyed his profile while the times were good that is for sure. Talk Sport appearances, self-appointed spokesperson for the League seemingly etc. But the measure of a man isn't how visible you are when things are going great; it is how you conduct yourself while times are trying that defines your character. Doubtless he has clearly had health issues (which I wish upon noone) but I suspect he would've' been perfectly able enough to pick up a phone on Thursday/Friday AM and tell Wayne directly of the situation the club was in. And indeed other staff who have worked for him. He owed them that. It takes bravery to do this and in doing so admit your failing but he absolved himself of that responsibility and allowed the press to do this work for him. Absolute disgrace, shocking and disgusting. 0/10 as a result.
The fact we as a club have lost our stadium to this man and now face the prospect, should we survive, of paying rent to the guy who walked away from HIS debts left in OUR club is the true measure of Mel Morris.

mike93rh got a reaction from Premier ram in Player Ratings #7: vs WBA (a)
The amount of people underrating Sibley and Jozwiak's performances last night is astounding. We set up tactically to miss out of the midfield and go for the draw - and we executed it perfectly. With this kind of set up, your Sibleys and Joz's are on the pitch to relieve pressure and carry the ball wherever they can, which I think they both did very well. They were never going to get chance to get a grip on the midfield or keep the ball for very long (not complaining about this, with our team and the fatigue they must be feeling right now I think Rooney got it spot on).
Nobody gets less than a 7 for me last night, it was a great point.

mike93rh reacted to Andicis in Notice to appoint administrators
I find it utterly insulting this part ''We cannot stress enough how devastating it is to be forced into this position. We all – the owner, the members of the board, and our staff – are true Derby County supporters.''. Get in the bin. You took a club in a wonderful position and you ran us into the ground. Bamfords.

Never allow Mel Morris back into Pride Park again. ''Fan'', yeah right. Ego trip.

mike93rh reacted to Stive Pesley in Notice to appoint administrators
He could, he just doesn't want to.
Fair enough, he's losing money and he can't sell because buyers don't want to purchase the debts
Administration is a low trick. Gets him out of it, but shafts everyone else

Take the season ticket money, own the stadium, then calls in the administrator.
Any last sympathies and respect for Mel have gone.
Without being crass, I'm glad my Dad isn't witnessing this.
