MikeS reacted to G STAR RAM in Jozwiak
I think brilliant is a bit of an overstatement but was his best display for quite some time.

Which is what we are doing now. But fans will moan about that when they have endure mid table mediocrity (as an aspiration). Remember the Nigel Clough years and protests outside the ground at GSE?! And they ran the club responsibly.
Mel tried to get us out of this league. He’s stood by the club bankrolling it and not walked away until a buyer is in place. He made some big mistakes early on with signings and managerial appointments that has ultimately cost him and us down the line - not helped by ridiculous FFP rules. But he’s done it out of a need of trying to compete with clubs with parachute payments. Right intentions always, yes he’s made some mistakes, yes he’s not immune from criticism but some of the flak he gets is unjustified.

Wrong. We are in this position like many other championship clubs because the EFL, The premier League, Sky, BT and others have so skewed the fundamental business, wages and fiscal rules of this sporting contest that it was bound to happen.

Maybe a bit of respect is due to Mel with all the money he has ploughed into the club and let’s not forget his recent poor health??? Yes he’s made mistakes of course he has and he’d probably be the first to admit that...

Give over.
Are you saying that he reads the comments on here, is so hurt by the criticism (haven't seen a lot of abuse) and so wants to sell because the nasty fans have said bad things?

Mr Morris has put in many tens of millions into the club and continues to bank roll it every month at the moment for no reward and no thanks from the majority on this website. Given the abuse he is getting I for one don't blame him for wanting to bale out, armchair owners like you guys make me sick.

Too many people are making too many assumptions and I will never agree to trial by social media with no right to reply but depressingly that is the fashion for some people.

So in layman's terms the whole exercise is another waste of time and money by the EFL AGAIN.

I thought it had been established that we can't get docked points based on this appeael.

MikeS got a reaction from Andicis in What would McClaren do with this team?
It's not what we think he would do, it is what he thinks he would do. According to a recent interview, he has been watching Derby a lot so must have a good idea of the set-up and its current failings. Which is a lot more than Rafa or Eddie Howe when a quick turnaround is essential.

As each day passes I think worsening things about Chris Martin. I am currently at ‘wishing him a career ending injury’ level. Can we please, please have some threads which do not include the need to mention bloody Chris Martin.

The plan B argument ducking grates on me. No manager has a plan B. It was a stupid criticism people came up with because we couldn't win every game. It was our fanbase being ducking spoiled.

MikeS reacted to Ghost of Clough in RamsTV Feedback
It's how they've set it up. They've 'assumed' STHs are only located in the UK.
Anyone located in the UK and has a matchday pass or monthly subscription will be able to watch it without restriction. If you're located in the UK, you won't be able to buy matchday passes for Sky games.
However, people in other countries are still restricted based on the usual TV stuff. If a STH from the UK travels abroad, they'll then be put under the same restrictions as non-STHs in non-UK countries. To make matters worse, I think that UK based person must watch whilst using WIFI (it may be different now). My girlfriend and I frequently visit her parents in Slovakia. On one occasion a game was on, I tried watching via 4G on my phone but it didn't work as the system thought I was still in the UK. Reconnected to WIFI and it started to work again.
If someone located in a non-UK country buys a monthly subscription then travels to the UK, they can use that monthly subscription to watch the games, without restriction.
Next season people located in the UK will be put back on the block list for Sky and Saturday kickoffs, just like they were before lockdown.
To summarise: For the next 3 games, be located in the UK (or a 'dark market' country) when you want to watch the games.

Ghost is right. Need more atmosphere on the sound and need less sound from Mr Woodward. He doesn't get it, that TV commentary is not the same as for radio. Too much flannel. Yes it is. ....it really is. (sorry).
Apart from that, much improved this season watching on PC. Very few dropouts and much more reliable.
