So bored of people questioning him and Hourihane. At this level, both quality at what they do.

Nice objective view of things there. I seem to recall some very entertaining wins last season, a nice unbeaten run, the miracle of actually starting to score goals and win away from home…..as well as the collapse towards the back end of the season.
This one thing or the other way of seeing things just doesn’t fit for me, there was some good and some bad last season, which meant ultimately we didn’t make the playoffs.
There’s been some good and some bad this season, with plenty of opportunity for it to go well and still the possibility that it doesn’t. We had some good results early in the season despite the mixed performances; Peterborough, Blackpool and Burton away spring to mind; and some not so good…. Cheltenham and Stevenage.
It’s not “easy”, Warne has got some things right and some things wrong, presently the current run suggests patience may well prove to be a virtue as the squad has gelled and is performing well alongside some consistent results. The only thing that’s black and white in all of this are the club’s colours, it’s never and will never be a simple binary discussion for me despite how hard some people try to make it so.

Sell no one. Keep Cashin and Bird and yes, Louie too. Keep our top academy prospects, keep Nelson, Nyambe, Wilson, NML, don't release any key players, save for silly money. It's high time our enforced reputation as a selling club, who pays through the nose and is prone to throwing out the baby is consigned to history. From here on, we build. And for what it's worth, £4 mill for Cash isn't anywhere near silly enough, unless Brighton want to give us a fat split (like 40%fat), when they sell him on for 3 times that in a year or two's time.
Exercise the added year options, get ourselves promoted, sit down and thank them with all our hearts, THEN sit down and discuss their future. We get promoted and Cash is worth £7.5 straight off the bat and I don't doubt that he'll help ensure the club gets max value for him, a la Jude Bellingham if you like, though on a less grand scale, obviously. I love the fact that Max and Eiran have stood behind the club through thick and thin, with in my view, lesser talents scurrying off at the first available opportunity. I don't want another Jason Knight where we see a top talent effectively horse-traded. He pretty much had to be sold, but with us exiting the agreed business plan this summer and on the brink of the autos, are we still compelled to offload players who can prosper in the Championship? Hell no! Might be harnessing the spirit of @B4ev6is here, but this is how I see it right now and I've a hunch, Mr Clowes does too.

We have great momentum, particularly at the back. Why rock the boat?

‘The Seagulls have attempted to strike a pre-agreement for Derby Countydefender Eiran Cashin over the past few months for a fee in the region of £4million, though those talks have recently collapsed due to the good form of the League 1 outfit. There is an expectation that the interest is likely to be reignited at the end of the season.‘

Depends on the other team, some can cope better than others. Oxford, especially their young keeper were not comfortable with defending balls into the box. It's more about mixing it up and different angles of attack, don't become too predictable.

Well that performance last night was an absolute tonic to me after a dreadful Christmas (my dad is terminally ill and has been in hospital throughout Xmas). I wasn't going to go , even though the Kassam Stadium is less than 2 miles away from where I live but my family persuaded me to so I went and apart from that first 15 minutes I had the best away day I've had for years. That second half performance was brilliant; relentless attacking pressure that blew Oxford away. The Rams fans last night were also amazing; you wouldn't have known we were the team 2-0 down. I couldn't speak at the final whistle from all the singing!
Its nights like that that make following this club so special. After what has been a rough few weeks personally I really needed that experience last night.

    Oh what a night,
    Late December 2023,
Oxford scored 2 but then we scored 3,
What a comeback, what a night!

PS - sorry to anyone I may have offended last night, I was a leetle bit drunk!

I'm home and just cracked open a nice bottle of German Christmas beer in celebration.  Guess it has all been said, but nights like tonight make the life of ram all worthwhile, this was better than Port Vale last season. I hope I get my voice back tomorrow, maybe the beer will help.

I liked the variety of players getting involved in the 3 goals, but also Hourihane's involvement in them all (even if one of them was a little tap to the side)...
    Goal for Forsyth
    Assist and goal for Cashin
Assist and two pre-assists for Hourihane
    Goal for Thompson
    Assist for Collins
