Read a tweet yesterday (which cant now find) wondering why our stands (other than the SW corner bit I think) are now just N,S, E and W.

Is that just in case we can get future sponsorship on them as source of funds or another reason does anyone know?

if you could name them what/who would you go for?

My theory behind this is the North stand is at the north end of the ground and the South Stand at the south side of the ground apart from that I have no idea why the stands are called North South East and West Stands.

  2. I wasn’t expecting a win tonight. I was a bit disappointed with our performance. The only way we would have won was to try and hassle them and not give them any room. Instead we gave the ball away easily and didn’t win any battles. West Ham didn’t break a sweat. It’s not that important. What is important is whether Bird is ok and 3 points on Saturday.

Unfortunately I won't be going. Already on a job next week over in Manchester, told the missus I can't come home each night as it's too far to drive back and forth. Not sure she'd appreciate a return trip to Derby when it's on the box.

The fully expensed week away without the kids and missus, and a £50 overnight allowance has absolutely nothing to do with it!

Do you have to tell her everything?

Just had my first bottle of Vocation Mint Chocolate Stout (12% abv, £4 from Tesco).

Going back next week to buy a dozen - it's amazingly good.

I might try one next week on my club card points.

I'd be slightly concerned if members' political persuasions was a discussion point at Rams Trust meetings. The idea that there's some left-wing conspiracy at the top sounds completely pie in the sky.

It not the discussions it’s the voting that’s the closed shop. Probably a bit similar to the way Putin get voted in to power.

Who voted in this new election?

How come someone is co-opted as second in command and not from the existing board?

Is being a member of the Labour Party an un-written pre-requisite of joining RT, as they seem to be Labour councillors, Labour election candidates etc?

I must admit there does seem a lot of lefties at the top. May be it’s a bit of a conspiracy to keep the right wing of the supporters group out.
At the end of the day we all support the same club.

People like these kind of things but I’m more of an Indian than a Chief.

I went and I don't think you could tell where the actual singing block was - the whole stand was loud.

It probably didn't help that a lot of people were just standing wherever they wanted.

I was wondering if it helped people who wanted to sit down  get a seat.
