Yep. 
Ironically McG is one of the reasons we look so toothless. Not because he’s doing anything wrong, but he’s our only attacking threat and he likes to drop deep, generally leaving no-one ahead of him, so we lose any threat.
In the absence of a decent striker, Im very surprised we haven’t utilised Barks, especially when hes spent a lot of time on the bench.
Hes not the answer long term, but right now, with no other strikers, I believe he’d be a good option. He could do the first 60mins and then bring Collins on to do his headless chicken act to see the game out if we’re leading! 
 

I am still prepared to give him time, but the second half of yesterday was embarrassing. The quality in our team should not be out played by a mid table League 1 team 

That logic rarely holds weight.  The best players don't make good managers. Some of the best had very modest playing careers. Venga played amateur in France, Mourinho div 3 in Portugal, the last English manager to win the prem Howard Wilkinson was at Boston for most of his playing career. 

We shouldn't be letting games get to the point where one decision defines it, it's Bristol Rovers, we sat back and allowed pressure from the moment we scored, no one to blame but ourselves.

What was worst today ?
1) Our finishing
2) Their play acting

Should have won it in the first half and been out of sight. Grumble about a 1000 things yet we made chances and didn’t bury them. Down to us on the pitch
Hourihan had a good game, as did Cashin, Collins and McG. NML was up for it but couldn’t hit a barn door with his final shot. Roberts brave and useful as usual. They all worked hard but sometimes karma isn’t t with you. ….. frustrating day as easily the better side. Kind of feel a second season in tier 3 is incoming but hope springs eternal. 

''Small club mentality'' give over. Define what that actually means. You haven't ever actually provided an evidence backed statement against Warne, you just make vague none statements like the above that don't actually mean anything. He got Rotherham promoted plenty of times, and there is no reason at all why he couldn't do the same here.

Ah right, and because that didn’t happen for reasons none of us know we should sack the bloke and hit the reset button again less than a year after the last giant reset started? Today was more what I believe Warne wants from this team, if the players had taken their chances and hammered them 5-1 everyone would feel differently in this moment.
I know it’s rubbish seeing us waste chance after chance but for me there has to be some calm and sensible process here. Warne isn’t for everyone, fine I get that, but surely you see the sense in a steady and structured approach after so many years of rash decision making linked to Mel’s boom and bust calamity?  

Oh and the question was what would you have Warne do differently today?

It wasn’t though was it? It’s infuriating not to have won, because we dominated the game but it wasn’t total s***. You’re right about the lack of finishing and also the lack of guile, the players are too honest at times.

According to the bbc stats we had 63% possession, 10 corners, 27(!) shots but only 6 on target. The game I watched saw us play a direct, attacking style of football with the ball on the floor and a high intensity press. Today was the right way for us to play with one key element missing, if we can keep replicating that in the remaining matches and find our shooting boots and a bit of guile there’s still a chance of the play offs, I do share the sentiment of others that even if we do make the play offs it may be too soon for this squad. 
My only criticism of Warne today is leaving the subs late again, he has to change that!
