I thought Mel wanted managers to use our world class academy… if Rooney adds eight 30 year olds, like Rowett did, then I don’t understand the club at all
You understood this club today? ?

I feel unlucky being Derby and England!
Last three final at Wembley: 2 x Derby, 1 x Euro final...

Anyone had luck refunding items through the new returns portal?
I'm trying to refund a home shirt due to, erm, lockdown sizing issues...
Keep getting an error message: "We are sorry, the service you have selected is temporarily down. Please check back later when normal service will be restored. Thank you for your patience." (no reply from their support yet)

Goal from the lad Cashin, bullet header from Sibbo’s corner.

My Large is definitely smaller than last year’s.
And it’s DEFINITELY not the shirt and NOT the .. ahem .. lockdown takeaways…

Apologies if asked elsewhere, anyone know if they’ll stream the games in the U.K. on £10 pay by match basis like during lockdown?

So maybe it's saying to other clubs - you don't hold the upper hand in player negotiations. We're not rushing into signings, we're not overpaying and we're not panicking!
That’s exactly how I read it.

Also, what if Derby just go into administartion citing the £100k fine then the new ownership immediatly removes us from admin?

I have two reasons for going to watch Derby, firstly im a Derby fan but secondly its the time i get to spend with my Dad, hes been making noises about not renewing anyway, he doesnt like whats involved with getting away as its so busy, so its crossed my mind that ill take him to some non league games just to spend that time and have a beer after like we used to. I guess id do that if the club folded, i cant imagine just switching to another club, i guess that might build up over time
I think you are right there would be a Derby County of some description, no doubt would be a wild ride watching them from non league, i am quite envious of clubs like afc wimbledon, when they got in to the league it must have been such a fantastic moment for their fans.
I am sure they feel very conflicted!
AFC Wimbledon’s rise was fantastic - but are they the same club which won that FA Cup etc? It doesn’t REALLY matter - or does it? Hard to say!

Lol. Starting to miss our footy already, might have to watch again, my nerves will be steadier! ?
Yes have also watched the entire second half twice on Sky Plus. Much more relaxed!

I thought 2020 was a tough year, 2021 has been absolutely mental so far.
5 weeks ago my brother-in-law committed suicide and then last week my wife lost our baby whilst 4 months pregnant and we spent a rough couple of days in hospital having to still give birth. Tough times.
I was at least hopeful Wayne Rooneys Rams would cheer me up slightly on the Saturday, but it wasnt to be.
My escapism has always been the Rams, but at the minute it's like going on holiday to Normanton to get away from it all.
Those of us who know the pain of miscarriage sympathise greatly pal! Been there myself more than once. Keep talking and keep going!
Our own song (yes this again)

Football songs are at their best when they’re about hope and/or misery, not “everyone is frightened of the Derby pride” (which, evidently, they’re not).
It’s why songs about thirty years of hurt, or how football causes love (of football) to have the world in motion resonate best.
I quite like SBW, but I’d love a proper anthem, and I like Stop Crying Your Heart Out as it’s a) sentimental but anthemic b) has a good chorus c) nothing directly to do with football and d) has a link to us already.
