For those travelling up please don’t fuel boro’s fire! Any retaliation for recent events from our lot tomorrow will be jumped on by Gibson and anyone anti-Derby, don’t give them an inch. A Derby win and another display of great support will damage the EFL and Boro’s case much more than a limp jab from anyone 10pints down

Will there be any sort of demonstration before the match for this one? I think a 15 minute peaceful but vociferous demonstration by a few hundred Derby fans outside the main entrance would be very eye catching. Unfortunately we don’t have the best record at Boro but hopefully it will change Saturday!

Looking at the opinions of most people on here the worst player yesterday was the most experienced, Forsyth and and one of the best was one of least experienced, Plange.

When we look forward we can be slick and create chances. For most of the first hour yesterday it looked as if both teams were kicking in the same direction as we would invariably turn backwards and while Brum were going forward. We have to stop this.
Partly it was because we were outmuscled in midfield, with our young lads unable to keep the ball, Thomson particularly struggling.
Partly it was the play out from and across the back line mentality and approach instilled by the coaches, this risk and reward game. Which I understand we want to do, but we do it wrongly. There's a lack of understanding and intelligence at work. The point is to draw your opponents to you in order to create space behind them, which you can exploit with a lightning quick attack, using the extra space.
In open play, once you "break the line" and have a numerical advantage over your opponents as you surge forward, you have to do everything you can to maintain the momentum of the attack, even if it means playing a risky forward ball to put someone through on goal. The odds are in your favour. Yet we break the line and often turn backwards and end up playing it back to the keeper while our opponents laugh at us and charge forwards with alacrity.
Then there are our goalkicks, Curtis playing the ball across our goal line to Allsopp. This would make sense if the opposition forwards were halfway inside our half or near the halfway line, as it would draw them towards our box and create space behind them. However, instead of this they are already lined up like olympic sprinters on the edge of our penalty area ready to charge the keeper. The job has been done. We do not have to entice the opposition to near our box. The space is already behind them waiting for us to use it. In this situation it is sheer stupidity to still play the ball short when there is no additional benefit to be gained and only danger and pressure to be invited on us. I cannot fathom why the players and coaches don't see this. When your opponents are already ranged around your penalty area, you must always go long and immediately exploit the extra space.
It was a thrilling comeback and I never gave up hope because we do look good when we actually go forward and attack, but we don't half make it hard for ourselves at times.

Great result!! Got to love the spirit shown by every player and have to be happy with a point despite a poor performance and being 2 behind. If we can pick our performances back up and manage to get around 7 pts against boro hull and peterborough we’re going to be in touching distance of safety! COYR?

    Hi guys
I hadn't seen a post on here about the march so passing the message on.
Ryan the chap who has taken the time to organise everything will be doing media rounds with Ed Dawes & Natalie Jackson so hopefully as many fans as possible will be aware and can attend. Would be great if we can get a few thousand.
I have managed to get 40 / 50 flags so these will be distributed on the day and I will then take these back to get into the stadium for the game.
Will also be a new banner about Save the Club at the front of the march.
In short, an 1130 meet at the Assembly Rooms and slow walk to Pride Park via closed roads thanks to Derby Police and Roger Brown who has sorted this. Expect to arrive at Pride Park just after midday.
Be good if as many as possible can join in to spread the word. This is potentially our last chance to show what this football club means to our city to the wider audience.

Man, I'm past caring who saves us so long as somebody does. Survival of the club is all that matters.
I'd like us to keep Rooney and the players and not have yet another points deduction but all those things are secondary to ensuring our continued existence.
I welcome the bid from the Binnies. I just don't think we're over the survival finishing line just yet. Let's hope it's soon.

Just not been good enough anywhere on the pitch today.
I think we made the mistake in starting CKR, really had nothing to change it up. Ebosele is NOT a forward.
Feel a bit sorry for Forsyth  too, who has been excellent in recent weeks. Buchanan has been second best all afternoon, needed someone with a bit more experience to handle their excellent winger.
Midfield totally outclassed by older, stronger players. We lost the physical battle, but also lack that bit of class up front, that Forest have got. Maybe the occasion got to our young lads too?
Lawrence penalty came out of the blue and at least made the last few minutes interesting.
Morrison's red card puts the top hat on it. Three possible red cards and we lost that 2-1 too!
We need to get this one out of our system and regroup for the important games ahead.
