Animal is a Ram reacted to Day in Alan Nixon Breaks Silence on American Billionaire Bid
If fans want a sustainable football club you don't need a billionaire.
Although being sustainable and competitive isn't that easy, still not sure the patience is there for that kind of model either if I'm honest.
We'll see, but I think a lot of fans don't actually have any real interest in being sustainable, just frustrated how money has been spent recently and looking to avoid a repeat of the situation we are in now. Understandable.
The ambition to be in the Premier League is still there, attendances reflect that and I won't deny it, I'm one of them. I want to see this club in the top flight and won't apologise for that.
Although the need for a better structure in place to identify the players needed to build a team capable of a promotion push is obvious.
Mel wasn't a billionaire and on reflection didn't need to spend the money he did, so whilst the idea of a billionaire sounds all sexy and exciting, it's not what is really needed at this club right now.

I get why fans are sceptical. It’s healthy, especially given the chancers and tyre kickers we've had so far.
But for those comparing this guy to Alonso - do you not think the admins are doing a better job than Mel at finding appropriate bidders? I’ve not seen anything to show I shouldn’t trust them yet. They'll have already seen proof of funds, reportedly to the tune of £150m+.
Also, for those questioning net worth, aren't Norwich's owners worth relative peanuts?

Animal is a Ram reacted to BaaLocks in St Clod’s Day
As a friend said to me over the weekend "Norwich are going to take your record this year" I wanted to suggest the initiation of St Claude's Day, the date on which no club can undertake (or equal) our points tally of eleven points. Named in honour of a player more symbolic of our lack of preparedness, ability, and commitment than any other (a statement of recognition in itself) in that 07/08 season the race is now on to predict on what day it will fall this season.
In previous years St Claude's Day has fallen on the following weekends, last season's Covid affected schedule aside it has only three times made it past New Years Day.
2020/21: 4th March (Sheffield United)
2019/20: 22nd December (Watford)
2018/19: 27th February (Huddersfield)
2017/18: 13th December (Swansea)
2016/17: 19th December (Sunderland)
2015/16: 18th January (Aston Villa)
2014/15: 29th December (Leicester)
2013/14: 26th December (Sunderland)
2012/13: 2nd January (QPR)
2011/12: 31st December (Blackburn)
2010/11: 27th November (Wolves and West Ham)
2009/10: 19th December (Portsmouth)
2008/9: 8th November (Spurs)
So, on what day will St Claude's Day fall on this year? I predict it will be the fourth time it has made it past New Years Day but I still think last week in February our record will be safe for one more season.

Bit of credit where it’s due to Steve Nicholson who got his article out before anyone else naming Chris Kirchner.

Well, the way I see it is what’s the point of a billionaire owning a championship club? He canna spend big without breaking the FFP again.
As soon as the millionaire reaches the prem he sells it to a billionaire.
That’s football business, and what Mel would have done.

I thought MM said we had a sustainable model now?
Even with our points deduction we are looking competitive.
Bielik back soon.
Add a striker to this squad and we could be very competitve and also not leaking money.

Animal is a Ram reacted to Steve Buckley’s Dog in Charlton Athletic and Ipswich Town to sue Derby County
Charlton Athletic are set to sue Derby County for £25 million after the ball burst in the 1946 FA Cup Final. If it hadn’t burst then we might have won or got some good players or something, said a Charlton spokesman. Meanwhile Ipswich Town also announced they were going to sue Derby County due to some reason or other. We might have won more games if they hadn’t beaten us in them, cited an Ipswich spokesman. It simply wasn’t fair that they had better players and scored more goals. We want £40 million and Martyn Waghorn back.
Meanwhile American fast food chain McDonalds announced that they were going to sue Derby County for fielding a player with their brand name. Flagrant breach of copyright, claimed a spokesman for the evil corporation.
In other news the EFL announced a further 9 points deduction for Derby County after the midlands side finished their 0-0 draw against Swansea with 5 full backs on the pitch. Everyone knows you should have two full backs, said a source close to Rick Parry. Derby ended the game with 5 players who full back could be considered their tecognised position. That is clearly too many. We checked the rules but couldn’t find anything specific about this so we all agreed that 3 points per extra full back sounded about right.
Meanwhile Wycombe have announced they aren’t going to sue Derby County for getting them relegated by buying Nick Blackman when they were two leagues below after they realised it was totally ridiculous and so far fetched as to be laughable.
*Has anything ever gone wrong with your football club? Not won enough points? Let in last minute winners to players who can’t even drive and park their car properly? Why not sue Derby County? Contact Gibson and Parry Solicitors for your claim form.

Animal is a Ram reacted to Gaspode in Derby County Administration (with the slight possibility of Liquidation still there)
The NDA will involve not disclosing details of the club that have been shared with him - nothing to do with him stating whether he's interested or not.....

Perhaps the nda just protects info AA receives from the admins. If so he can still talk about their plans

How does that tie in with an NDA though? Seems to be the very opposite...

"The EFL can confirm that today that Steve Gibson has been admitted to hospital with testicular pains and a wrist based RSI. Obviously the EFL wish him a speedy recovery as our most valued chairman *please don't sue us steve*. We are also delighted at kleenex sales in the teesdie area"

Animal is a Ram got a reaction from Adslegend in Wayne Rooney press conference
After a rough month accidentally injuring Jason Knight, and the hotel room sleeping incident, the man has been a beacon for the club.
Criticise his on the pitch stuff, fine. But even that's been improving. You cannot criticise how he's handled the backroom stuff.
Lampard always felt like he was only using the club as a stepping stone. The same can't be said for Rooney - it feels like he actually cares.
