I’d like a bit of experience not sure we could afford it though, maybe not everyone’s cup of tea but wouldn’t mind seeing Nigel back

Can we have one small period of unrestrained celebration??
(Presuming this isn't poo-housery of the highest order and he has a solution to the stadium issue near completion).
Get in there Chris you absolute legend.
What's first? Surely get the players re-signed ...? Then get season tickets on sale, get a new kit and sponsor sorted, get Wayne feeling like he has backing...??!
First day on way back to recovery pleasesssee.

We know Ashley has the money. We know Ashley wouldn't want to waste time in League One, but wants to compete with the big boys in the Premier League. We know Ashley has gained a lot of experience of running a football club, after a very bad start.
I would take Ashley over Kirchner (who we really don't know if he's got the money) every time.

They don't like it up 'em, Captain Mainwaring, do they?
What a stupendous performance last night! I've still got my gruff voice from shouting too much! thankfully the cauliflower ears have gone! The atmosphere last night had elements of the Brighton play-off semi-final about it - a huge expectancy, despite thinking Fulham would be too good for us, absolutely massive noise despite a much smaller crowd, and Pride Park absolutely rocked last night!
After 5 minutes finding our feet we gave Fulham a really good game, despite their ability at pass and move, and probably had more shots than them in the first half. One mistake, one goal. That was tough, being punished by Beilik's sloppiness, but that's football. And probably why Fulham are where they are. But in reality, as with many of the top sides we made them look ordinary, or perhaps didn't let them boss us.
And second half we were way the better team. And I think Beilik's mistake for the goal was the only bad bit of play by Derby - last night was maybe the best we've played all season, especially the second half. It seems that Wayne and Liam got us pushing on that little bit more, with Plange getting himself into the box a lot more often than normal, and it paid off because both the goals came from him being where a striker should be. And I did notice that he was offside in the build up to the second goal - only just, but still offside. So at last, a dodgy refereeing decision in our favour! Thankfully I didn't have to listen to the Sky pundits soaking their underwear taling about Fulham, but I bet they noticed the offside.
    SO WHAT!!!
There have been some comments that the ref wasn't too bad last night. What that translates to is that he didn't make any result-changing decisions against us, that is all. But the loaded dice was still in play. Fulham's time-wasting after they had gone ahead was almost embarrassing, but all the ref did was wave his arm vaguely, and point to his watch a couple of times. 2 minutes added on at the end of the first half says it all. Conversely he couldn't wait to book Allsopp once we had scored. And Fulham took nearly all their throw-ins a minimum of 10 yards further up the pitch. When the ref made them go back, what they actually did was take the throw in form where they had moved up to anyway. On 65 minutes Plange chased a Fulham defender down and won the ball, and was given offside. OFFSIDE? From about 5 yards behind the defender? Come on!
Maybe "Wasn't too bad" should be "wasn't as bad as the usual troach we get".
All in all it was a fabulous night. We laughed at Fulham for being so quiet, but apart from about 10 minutes towards the end of the first half, there was actually no way of knowing - we simply couldn't hear if they were making any noise or not because we were so loud. COME ON YOU RAMS FANS! And what a match for Chris Kirchner to come to for the first time since his re-appearance! He may have many reasons for getting back involved, but I hope that what we have got going for us, despite the current circumstances is a major reason!

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers. What a game, what performances. That was a wonderful game of football. They edged us on the pass and move, I had jangling nerves every time they had a corner .. those quality balls in  just forward of the 6 yard box at the right height and willing attackers ready to pounce to well practiced drills. But Cashin and Curtis like Bulwarks, “thou shall not pass” Ebioe running their full back ragged in the first half. Such balance and control. Did you see that arrogant take down in the second half ? What a touch he has. Tommo a micro battering ram with twinkling toes. Byrne running and running and .. marking Mitrovic ?. Mr sweet face Serbian prince turned rapidly in to grumpy, petulant old nanny goat by the mighty Rams. Tom Lawrence bursting with energy and intent. Seeing Plange’s confidence soar as the second half progressed and watching Buchanan get stronger and taller as the minutes passed. Knighty burning nuclear energy on every inch of the pitch. The one who made it for me was Eiran Cashin. Positioning, strength, key headers, blocks, tackles, calm under pressure, never reckless,  tidy always. He’s 20 ? And he’s a god of a Centre Back already.
que sera sera but I am so proud of this team as was everyone else. You can feel the bond between fans and players in a way that I have never seen in 50 odd years of watching football.

Get this deal done .. I need to renew my season ticket ????

Not sure what the obsession of net worth is. Mel was supposedly worth half a billion yet couldn't pay a large tax bill. Delia and husband at Norwich worth less than £10 million yet runs the club seemingly very well.
It's his principles and plans for the club I'm more interested in than what's in his bank account

Nothings changed - we still need at least two more wins than Reading. We now have a more optimistic set of fixtures coming up.
More twists and turns and highs and lows to come yet folks - ‘til the end.

Imagine the feel good factor we’d take into next season. All these kids with a season of hard football under their belts. Rooney with an extra year of experience, no longer a rookie manager. I reckon we could do big things next season if we can stay up.
even if we don’t stay up, if we give it a bloody good go and come pretty close, we can be fairly confident that we should be head and shoulders over most of league 1. We’re a mid-table championship team. And we’ll only be better next season, so I reckon we’ll storm league 1, setting us up for back to back promotions.
the future is bright either way.

If anyone had said before the season started, you’re going into administration, then lose -21 points, I mean 21 POINTS, half your senior pro’s and however many kids just to survive BUT be within 5 points of safety with 10 games left.....
Of course, it’s still on,........we’re Derby County and we fight until the end ?

Still trying to work out why the ref gave them the free kick for the 1st goal. It wasn't the reason we lost but against a Rowett team it was the worst possible start. To be fair to them I thought they did knock it about quite well and the deficit could have been worse at half time.
Despite it being a lacklustre display I still felt we could get something from the game as surprisingly for a Rowett team they didn't look great at the back. We just lacked the guile to exploit that.
Apart from one loose pass I thought Cashin had a decent game again. The signs are good that he will only get better. Thought Ebiowei had a bit of a swagger about him when he came on and could well be a useful weapon from the bench. It's a set back but whilst it's still possible we have to fight on. UTR.

Spot on B4, they never really leave you completely. I lost my dad in 2020 but he still pops into my mind when I think of something that he may have found funny or annoying and even now, stuff happens and I think 'Dad would love to hear about this' and then I remember. The sadness gradually dims though and you're left smiling at the thought/memory. Only time can do that.

Sorry for off-topic, just couldn't let B4s thoughtful post pass without commenting. Good on ya mate ?
