he is unproven and you're totally right with whst you say  but he could've been given much more game time experience here and just his pace and enthusiasm would've been a positive impact from the bench as well as having a Gregory or a Smith

I wouldn't say someone repeating what a couple of journalists allegedly told him, as someone who deals with facts, quite the opposite.

Apart from 45 minutes v Fleetwood though, Vickers hasn't played with Fozzy and Nyambe in front of him. Maybe it's as much their absence that is making the defence less solid.🤷‍♀️

Have you missed the >150 posts in countless threads discussing the financial restrictions we are under to meet the agreed business plan, no way would we want to spunk the last pennies in the pot on a loan unless it was the only option, not saying it won't happen, but doubt it is the 1st choice option.
I doubt anyone else other than Reading or Wigan have similar concerns,  so for Burton, if their owners want to spend they can...

Only added depth. Mason-Clarke and Poku will still be their starters. Olakigbe will be a bench option alongside their only other winger (Ajiboye). We've strengthened our winger options more than them.

Whatever happens, the teams around us have strengthened more than we have. Bolton have made 3 quality signings, similar to Pompey. Despite the fact we’ve signed CBT we have also lost our back up forward for the season. The midfield still isn’t right either and we’re one injury away from Cashin/Nelson/Collo and we are going to struggle.

As for a Warne type player, I think Ince got tarnished as a lazy player but he wasnt. His body language isnt always the best but you could also say that about NML

Obviously none us know how he would have performed if he’d been kept on. He also seems like an honest and likeable chap but let’s not kid ourselves that he remained with us through the hard times purely due to a sense of loyalty to the club (unless we know for certain he was offered other decent jobs and turned them down). 
 
My big assumption is that he stayed with us because he was happy here, he didn’t get any better offers and/or he thought/hoped he’d have a decent chance of getting the job on a permanent basis. 

Everyone knows we needed more this transfer window. Good move getting CBT but we need more. If we don’t get them, that’s on Thomas/Pearce/Clowes not Warne, and probably not even on them we’re clearly still heavily restricted.

Can’t Brown be recalled if necessary (e.g. an injury to Collins)? If that’s true and is your only argument then it’s not bad management as it allows Brown to get much needed first team games under his belt but be recalled, match fit (unless of course he picks up an injury).

Amazing how everyone knows how he's performing in training better than the coaching staff, because thats what they will be making their decisions on, yes he looks decent in the age group levels because of his physicality,  just as we've had in the past, Ball anyone?!? Or Whittaker more recently where his physical advantage was pace at youth level, what did most do to him when he was thrown in?
But without that edge he's looked like he's been struggling whenever he had an opportunity,  didn't he start in one of the cup games and had a shocker? And that's not even against regular L1 players.... 
I've also wanted to see us bring thru the academy lads, but maybe this opportunity to play against men regularly for a month may be just what he needs to be a viable option for our run in where we can recall him in 4 weeks...
