Won’t the EFL take an interest if it’s bought for less than the £80 million it was sold for?
Nope
they can take an interest but as it’s a private transaction between two separate parties it’s nothing to do with them.
having the value of an asset and a cost offs an asset are two different things.
a players value is completely different to the price that may be paid during a transfer for example. -
A lot of people are doing a disservice to league one. It’s not just a bunch of cloggers hacking their way through a match. The stats indicate they’re not too dissimilar to the championship.

There's a large number of permanent vacancies listed on the club website:

Most will be vital to ensuring we maintain Cat 1 academy status.

That accomodation bill....
That's £158 per night every night for one person since administration began.

I suspect the first team loans/signings will be Rooney's.
Out of interest though, if we don't have a recruitment team, who signed Ebiowei, Plange etc? I want them signing the u23s
That would have been Morris’s Step Son.

I don't have a problem with that - after all they are the club's debts, even if the previous owner allowed them to get out of hand.
Isn't it Manchester United where the American owners had the club borrow the money for them to buy the club - something whacky like that?
That’s how Burnley’s new owners funded their takeover too

We have 6 games left, probably need to go unbeaten and win at least 4. We need goals. Could Curtis be the target man we need? Has a good touch and good in the air, could give us a much-needed focal point up top? Stearman the ready made replacement at the back and Bielik/Knight central midfield duo?
What have you been drinking? Or smoking?

The Ricketts family are no longer on the running to buy Chelsea.
quick phone call from Appleby to Tom and away we go. Getting the band back together -
Suits me. Get the whole of the bank holiday to do family stuff and then go to the game at night.

Doesn’t matter because you sell out either way. The only way to get football back to the people is to not pay to watch it. When all clubs go bankrupt then locals can resurrect Phoenix clubs.
Of course it won’t happen.
Myself, I’m not renewing next season. Football is no longer a sport because the bedrock of sport is fair competition, something football hasn’t been since the formation of the Premier League.
Nice to see it’s only taken 30 years of the premier league for you to decide you don’t like football.
Or is it you just coincidence that derby are heading to tier 3? -
I'm not even sure if we will get compensation. I think you have to offer the player a contract that's at least equal to their current one to get compensation. The EFL won't let us offer contracts.

When we do set the ball rolling on the phoenix club?
if nothing else it might sharpen the focus if, all of sudden, a new club is formally created, If we don’t need to use it we haven’t lost anything.
it’s getting to the point where drawing a line under this might be the best way forward.
How many Phoenix clubs will there be. It will be a right old mess with different groups trying to claim to be the one.

The bins are out.
One of the long-term interested parties to buy Derby County say the Championship club's administrators have ended discussions with them after deciding their latest £30m offer was too low.
They wouldn't turn down an offer if there wasn't a better one on the table

Funny though.
Suspect the possession of drugs didn't help with the sentencing.
It’s obvious the name calling was what brought him to the attention of the police. They told him to mind his language. He got gobby at the police. They decided they’d had enough and nicked him for essentially being a Rick parry.
just his luck that his brain cell was on holiday and he forgot that gobbing off to a policeman while having a pocketful of drugs isn’t the wisest thing to do.
