  1. He has a history of not trusting young players. Much rather pay to sign proven players. on this point you can also look at his comments about loan players saying he only wants those who have previously been out on loan. That excludes a huge number of talented players who are looking for a loan move.

conversations with people who know the the club and the wider game who have all told me the same thing.

Bird, Wilson and ward all injured. There is still friction between the manager and recruitment team. He’s useless apparently. I’ll be honest even with 4 in I’m a little worried about the quality of those players.especially with how tight the budget was. May all change with sales/ injuries of course

Bear in mind he was a Warne appointment. And Warne has signed at least one player that Mark Thomas didn’t want to.

Cashin is a really good player..but he hasn't improved since  Warne's been here...

He’s got worse since Warne came in. Along with most of the other players who are still here from when he joined.
a manager is supposed to improve his players, not make them worse.

I dont even sit with the guys mentioned Tombo.

What i meant by the cancel culture. Zero complaints in 3 years where the drum originally was to many complaints after 1 game

And that’s the crux of the matter. Its the new position that’s the problem, not the drum itself.
believe it or not but people might not want to have the drum right next to them.

Wish they'd go back to broadcasting some on RamsTV. Used to enjoy watching them.

They couldn’t have broadcast it last night because of the obviously massive impact it would have had on skys viewing figures of the man it’s match!

Interestingly, the Cambridge kits were designed by Kitbag under licence by Umbro, and not by Umbro’s in-house design team. The away kit is particularly good.

I agree. Let's not overhype this appointment.

Southampton are in a very different situation to Derby. They have almost no competition for the best kids in the south. Portsmouth have been a mess for the past 10 years and after that it's Exeter.

Kids near Derby have options around Stoke, Derby, Forest and Leiec. It's very different.

Not saying this won't be a good appointment, but he will have a bunch of challenges he hasn't had before.

They compete for youth talent with Swansea, Cardiff and the two Bristol clubs too. As most of their two hour catchment is water, they were allowed to have a satellite base which they plonked in Bath to open up that part of the country.

I thought I would add this beauty into the mix.  A homage to the eighties, incorporating the original colours of chocolate, amber and sky over a main body of seashell to incorporate the modernity of the new millennium, whilst tipping a nod to the current black and white on the trim and collar.

    😉
