Brammie Steve got a reaction from kevinhectoring in Embargo and Transfer restrictions lifted
At last we have the chance to play on a level field!
With respect please could the EFL:-
Implement points reductions when appropriate rather than delay for 9 months.
Ensure that refs are conversant with rules governing yellow and red cards and what constitutes a penalty. Adopt an even handed and impartial approach which does not favour certain teams at the expense of others. -

Brammie Steve reacted to Ambitious in Season Ticket Renewal Poll
My wife is due to give birth in June so I’m not going to renew, but I will do my best to get to some games and watch them all. I’m hoping to be back the following season, depending on how life plays out.

Are we worried?
Are we nervous?
Are we having doubts?
We are Derby!
We never make things easy!
Come on Barnsley!

We’ve already proved the doubters wrong!
Now let’s keep the faith!

Brammie Steve got a reaction from Patrick Rams in Portsmouth (H) Sat 29th April
Bit like those three games against Arsenal in early1972.
We ended up as League Champions!

Brammie Steve got a reaction from Premier ram in Krystian Bielik - Joined Birmingham on a 3 year deal
I reckon that we can manage without KB parachuting back for the Playoffs!
Why play someone who has shown no loyalty to us this season?
IMHO we can either sink or swim with the current squad.

Brammie Steve got a reaction from David Graham Brown in Next season
Whatever wherever or whenever the Rams play they have one of the most loyal and faithful fanbase in the UK and boost the attendance at other grounds. This support is a boost to away game attendance with “smaller” teams playing like it’s a cup final and using every tactic imaginable to prevent the Rams leaving their division and the prospect of bumper gate receipts!
We are often victims both of our own success and proud heritage!
COYR…..onwards and upwards!

Brammie Steve reacted to angieram in Burton Albion (H) Sat 22nd April
It's a very different "three at the back", though, isn't it? One that allows us to get our best footballing players further forward together in positions they enjoy.
Hourihane, Bird, Sibley, McGoldrick and Mendez-Laing all look comfortable in this formation.
And Roberts and Knight in those wide positions are much more suited to their defensive/offensive roles than Mendez-Laing and Barkhuizen were.
I was quite impressed at Exeter and thought we'd score more at home today. I think only a combination of PP nervousness and good goalkeeping prevented that.
I'd have liked us to be just a bit more positive with our substitutions, though, as it made for a nervous last ten minutes.
But overall, I'm liking it! 👍

Brammie Steve reacted to Warren Blufitt in Burton Albion (H) Sat 22nd April
Well done today guys a very important 3 points for us both today and that defeat for Posh must deflate them and with two tough games to come it looks like you and Wanderers in the play offs. We just need to win our game in hand against Accy on Tuesday and it puts us 5 points in front of them with two left. Not completely done yet but good as so looking forward to meeting you at Wembley. 😉

Brammie Steve got a reaction from Mostyn6 in Frank Lampard
I got 5 points for predicting a 2-4 win for us with Bennet as FRGS but more in hope than expectation.
(plus Leeds are still not my favourite team!

Brammie Steve got a reaction from David Graham Brown in Exeter City (A) Tues 18th April
Wildsmith’s first half save reminded me of Banksy’s vs Pële in Mexico ‘70 except for two things:-
Gordon saved at the right upright and
He had to clear the whole width of the goalmouth to make the save!
Both saved a certain goal though!

Brammie Steve got a reaction from Dordogne-Ram in Dave Watson
Sorry. to learn that Dave Watson is very ill believed to be as a result of constant heading of the old heavy ball.
He was the original Mr Reliable who played for the Rams in the early 80s..
Best wishes to Mr Watson and family and thanks for the memories!

Brammie Steve reacted to Day in Run in to play offs...
If we make it, great, if not, we’ll go again as cliche as it sounds..
I honestly feel like this season was always going to be one of stabilisation, if promotion happened, bring it on, we all know this is not a League 1 club and there is no chance we will be stuck down here for multiple seasons. Just promotion wasn’t the primary objective given the circumstances, if the season finished today, it would go down as an incredible one.
Yes it will be hugely disappointing given the position we got ourselves into a few weeks ago, I just look at clubs like Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday that have been down here without restrictions and hasn’t come easy to them either.
I know none of this was the question, however with regards to the run in, I couldn’t be more relaxed about it.
To be in the position we’re in now is beyond any expectations I had back in August.
