I do hope the club offer Fozzy a new contract. Even if, as been speculated, we play with 3 centre backs. I think he could still do a good job for us as a wing back.
Unless the club have a decent loan player lined up for that position, I don't think there's anyone that is available on a free that is better than Fozzy.

While listening to him talk on the radio and what he was saying was giving my concerns that he may not be here for the coming season. Hopefully I'm wrong, that any concerns is down to my natural pessimism and we will see him signing a new contract with us on Monday.

With all the signings that have already been done, I don't want to be greedy but can we sign a centre forward that's big, strong and fast.

Who this mythical manager is, I haven't got clue. While those that are in the box seat to become our new owner are supposedly astute business men. I'm guessing that whoever finally becomes our new owner, will be in the same predicament, in their lack of knowledge of league one football and their ability to identify the right manager needed to lead us forward.
I just hope a new owner gets good footballing advice and can find the right person that they'll need to guide them through these difficult times. Whoever they do find, I hope they care as much for the club as we the ordinary fans do. That they are not there to make a quick buck but are wanting the club to thrive and push on to greater success.

We'd be better off offering Steele a contract to come out of retirement and play.

As much as I'd like to see Liam be given a chance to manage us next season. Ideally I'd prefer for us to appoint a manager who has an understanding of whats needed to survive in this league. The ability to assemble a squad quickly. Lastly has the charisma to attract a good quality of player, that will give us a good chance of being competitive in what will be a difficult season for us.

Quantuma should never have been put in the situation of accepting or rejecting the points deduction by the EFL. The punishment, if infact there was a case for any points deduction, should have been held in abeyance until the new owner took control of the club.
To keep other club's owners happy, the EFL saw the opportunity to impose the punishment, knowing there would by nobody at the club to raise any against it.
What the EFL did was underhanded and downright despicable. And highlights that those in charge of running it are not fit to do the job.

After more than 9 months of the EFL  putting any and every obstacle in the way of a new owner taking control of the club. They now cry crocodile tears while saying they want to help. It all sound like they are trying their best to distance themselves  from any blame for when the club is liquidated.
