EFL claim is for an additional 8 points for failing other years, minus 3 for accepting the deal on the table.
DCFC (or Mel) claim is that we shouldn't be punished for further periods due to the circumstances (ordinarily we'd have been punished for 2018 and then have time to address things for the 2019 period and beyond).

Only guesswork, but we were screwed with either amortisation method. EFL approved method screws us up to 2020/2021, whereas Derby method would have us in a tricky situation for a couple more years after that.

Penalty also depends on how it's calculated - losses exceeding £13m during failed periods should be 'reset' to £13m.
A lot of guess work required but 2019 would be the bad one. maybe a couple of points in 2020 too.

But how much of that is because there isn't a natural striker in the team? Stretton is raw and will need time to physically adapt, Baldock has replaced the Nugent from Lampard's season, whereas Kazim, Lawrence and whoever else we stick up there isn't the sort to get into the right positions to receive the ball in the box.

Have you actually just compared one of our players to a young Pele? And found him lacking in comparison?

Maybe in normal businesses, but an appeal against an administration punishment cannot be worsened under the current rules.

Selection problem for Roonet if Knight is still 'ill'. 3 of our first 4 CMs out, leaving Ravel and Watson as the only real options there. JBrown could be drafted in, but he's spent the season training as a CB.
To maintain a bit of balance we must go 3/5 at the back without Knight.

Watching the highlights, as I was thankfully not there yesterday but the amount of times Byrne let’s him man get passed him when defending the goal is criminal.
He switches off constantly and it costs us on many occasions. Yesterday he had no idea where Bereton was and could simply have headed that cross out for a corner.
People love him, he’s small and diminutive and tries hard but he is a very limited player and hopefully over time we can do better.
It was still harsh on Ebosele who played well at Preston and was dropped immediately.
