Ghost of Clough got a reaction from Carl Sagan in New signings, who will be first...and next?
In his 4 seasons at Luton, Collins played an average of 83% of the league minutes (74 minutes per game). We should be giving him a similar amount of game time this season. The remaining game time in the CF position is suitable for McGoldrick/Stretton depending on match circumstances.

Ghost of Clough got a reaction from Tamworthram in Petition to Derby to remove our relationship to gambling companies
The point Tamworthram made was that someone who is capable of using a phone to gamble, will already know how to before they see a sponsor on a shirt.
Sponsorship is all about brand awareness, and that specific company trying to increase their own market share.
Think about it... did you start buying more footwear because we were sponsored by Puma, drink more because of Pedigree, or buy more phones because of buymobiles?

Ghost of Clough reacted to Rammysees in Petition to Derby to remove our relationship to gambling companies
FYI EDS - Electronic Data Systems were the US based IT Services company Rolls-Royce sold all its computing requirements to and TUPEd it computing and data support etc. Somewhere around the early 90s. They provided a lot of IT solutions for big sporting events, hence the sports sponsoring. It was bought by HP a few years later and eventually renamed.
Irrelevant but fills the gap

Ghost of Clough got a reaction from Tamworthram in James Collins and the positional movements
To be fair, it's not clear how much Collins moved from the OPs two pictures. But, if you watch the replay he did the following:
initial movement outside of the box was towards the front post, in front of Moore. drifted towards the back post behind Moore, dragging the RB inside and leaving Barkhuizen in space took two hops to the side to give Hourihane a clear shot on goal.

Ghost of Clough got a reaction from Will Hughes Hair in Jason Knight
We gave him his current contract 5 months after he made his first team debut. I'll be amazed if he's anywhere near the £12k figure some people claim he's earning.

Good thing for us is letting Bielik out on loan has allowed us to get 4 more in. No need to sell Knight.

We have a max player wage bill of £8m and total losses for the season can be £8m. I think it's just how the budget currently falls that means we can't pay fees for players. If we did sell someone for £5m, we would probably be allowed to spend some of it on a signing, but why would we? We're assembling a good squad based on the academy, frees and loans. We'll fill the gap left by Knight via one of those three methods.

Ghost of Clough got a reaction from Crewton in Serial Whingers Notts Forest playtime, which we simply cannot accept.
Forest are a very big club in this country. There's no harm in admitting it.
It's just that since Forest joined the Football League in 1892, Derby have finished above them 61 times to 59. Then also over the past 20 years, we've finished above them 12 times to 8.

Stating "David Clowes is a good guy - I'm sure he'll listen" is vastly different from telling him what "[you] think is morally correct".

Ghost of Clough got a reaction from Reggie Greenwood in Oko Flex gone Swansea
Dobbin and Oko-Flex competing for LW
Mendez-Laing and Barkhuizen competing for RW.
Either that, or it's one of Dobbin and Oko-Flex coming in.
