And what about that ground where the plumbing is so knackered, the overflow from the upstairs urinals spews out all over the lower tier onto the away fans below.  Just how slippery must those stairs get, I wonder!  Frightening, really!   ?

If ever I know someone whose mother died at the hands of a drunk driver when he was 12, who fought in multiple tours in Afghanistan in mortal combat, who had a wife who nearly committed suicide because of gossiping and who saw those that he knew publicly turn against him based (in part) on the colour of his wife's skin (or, at the least, where she came from) I hope I'd be a bit kinder than many have been. Even if they are being a bit / lot of a tool.

Unfortunately for SWFC it's not QPR's or DCFC's stadium that is under scrutiny again. It's true though that when enough people behave selfishly and without any common sense, even "modern" stadiums have the potential for problems, especially when crowd control measures are lacking. 

Signing loads of players in a January window doesn’t always bring improvement.

... Purely coincidently, however... we will be taking an initial look at caravans this year... and have got tickets for the actual NEC for the end of Feb Caravan show... just to get some ideas on layouts etc.
We've probably done our last proper winter camp (in a tent) last week/over New Year, although we're still well up for a couple of fortnights in France, and fair weather UK weekends.  Not quite ready to ditch the canvas just yet!
Maybe a caravan for late 2023/Early 2024?  (Won't be a brand spanking new one though, that's for sure!)

It's modern coaching innit? The same as you don't have players on the posts at corners, and a defender takes goalkicks across your own six yard box to your keeper. I hate it all.
We all know the theory is that you are sucking the opponents forward and with your lightning-fast ability to break you are more likely to score than if you left players up, but I don't believe it. I'd leave three players on the halfway line and dare my opponents to not leave four back. With only six forwards to mark in the box, I think defending becomes much easier, and if you clear the ball you have much more chance of it sticking and relieving the pressure.
