Just under 1,000 tickets sold already. Great support as always.

Maybe DCFCFans could become the sponsor this season? You could decuct what the previous DCFC owe you David.

We might be getting a bit carried away. He was not wanted by Arsenal, played OK for Charlton in league 1 although won them the payoff final, then onto us.... Still a bit to prove re consistency and fitness.

Looking at this guys stats there extremely poor why the importance of getting him ? . He is hardly a goal scorer . Surely we can get a hold up merchant who pops a few more in than this guy . Or am i missing something about this one .
I thought his stats showed a 1 in 3 strike rate over his career?

Probably an unpopular opinion but I think his petulance is down to frustration with his own ability. He isn't the quickest and he doesn't protect the ball well enough to enjoy possession. Also at 21 he is no longer a real youngster in footballing terms
From my perspective I sincerely hope he can step it up consistently because if not this could be it for him at Derby.
Come on lad let's see what you can do.

I don’t think anyone is suggesting we breach any salary caps or agreed business plans to keep Curtis. That would be insane and I’d hope he isn’t expecting us to. It must be either a question of do we offer Curtis more but take a hit on what we can offer others in order to stay within the limits or, do we offer him a longer term contract/a guarantee of something at the end?
I don't think we should offer a 37 year old more than a 1 year contract.last season was remarkable, especially for Curtis but I can't see the sense of offering more than 12 months especially as he has stated his preference for punditry when he hangs up his boots.

Liam needs a serious assistant who can give egos some stick if needed.

Think we should offer Rosenoir the job on a joint interim basis along with 3 other members of the Derby coaching staff.
What could possibly go wrong
What would you do Tyler? Get the administrators to appoint on a short term basis or employ a new management team permanently or perhaps wait ntil the buyout is complete and decide?

And will be needed on the pitch.
Under our present circumstances perhaps he can function in both roles.

And if Curtis stays he’d be an excellent assistant. 90% of management is getting the respect from the players and inspiring them to do mare than just a job.
100% this. Liam is a coach primarily which is fine but he may lack a little steel. I think having Curtis as his assistant would give the management team some gravitas. Also gives continuity and makes a lot of financial sense.

This is so tragic. For the first time I really feel we as a club are almost dead. The collective powers that be needed to be smart, fast and efficient not only to agree what was needed to get us out of administration but also to retain enough value and potential in the club to make us attractive for management and players to agree to wait and re-sign.
Let's not forget it was us fans who created such an environment and atmosphere around the place that players potentially it seems were prepared to drop into league 1 with us. I think the incompetence of the EFL and The administrators have probably done for us.

Because there is no return on the £80m stadium.
An investor looks for a return on an investment.
How was the original value arrived at? An investor would look to the future potential surely.

So there is this stadium valued at over £80m and a league one team valued at next to nothing for sale for £45m. As an investor why isn't it a good deal?

He would have looked daft playing out from the back with his head!
New signings, who will be first...and next?

I've never understood why the transfer window doesn't close midnight before the start of the season.
