LazloW reacted to i-Ram in Missing 10,000 it’s time too turn up
There are a lot of fans who are not turning up who might wish to be ‘busting a gut’ too. However, COVID has not been fair to the old - and we do have I would suggest a quite old fan demographic - nor has it been kind to many in terms of income. I think it’s a bit crass to call out fans who in the past have done their bit, but for now have good reason for not being able to attend.

We all know this and our limitations - you two are not blessed with higher football knowledge than the rest of us but after a few crap months most of us are just happy to celebrate the points tally from what seemed like two impossible fixtures after the -9.

A rather confused post. That Fulham team would be a bit different if they get promoted, with signings. The 90% claim is just cobblers.
Every team needs grafters, why are you complaining we have some? The CD partnership of Davies and Jagielka needs no defence from me, the stats speak for themselves. They are classy defenders. Tonight really is not the time for griping posts like yours.

The gulf between the two sides was massive. Don’t get me wrong that was a fantastic point for Derby, but for 90% of the game we couldn’t get out of our own half. And that Fulham team would go down in then PL. The gap between the top two leagues is just too big now.
Huge credit to the lads, worked their socks off. Rooney deserves praise too.
While Curtis, Jags and Shinnie are real grafters and great off the ball, they really do limit us going forward. The reason why we could barely get out of our own half was the slow passing at the back just invited Fulham to box us in.
But with the players we have, it’s to be expected really.

That’ll do. 4 points I didn’t think we’d have on Sunday morning. Bit of luck, but you’re going to need that away at Fulham. Good stuff.

LazloW reacted to angieram in Supporters Groups Meeting with Administrators
There were a few rubbish chants started on Sunday but they seemed to be quickly drowned out by more positive ones, presumably from supporters nearby.
I think we have a small minority of noisy fans who are disrespectful of everything and everyone - they are just thugs really and hide behind being at a game to do this stuff. If they're not chanting, they are threatening opposition or their own supporters or generally abusing staff at grounds.
I wish we could weed them out but it appears very difficult. But I don't think they are representative of most Derby fans.
I love the positivity of the vast majority of our supporters and think the South Stand have been brilliant this season.

LazloW reacted to angieram in EFL agrees 'suspension of the notice of withdrawal of membership'
Really? I have worked with charities for 35 years whose trustees will have a great knowledge of their own regulations, but other bodies?
I am trying to think how good my working knowledge of the NHS constitution is after 35 years working alongside them, and it is sketchy at best. And I only got the local CCG constitution out when they arbitrarily stopped all our funding.
I was a Governor at our local mental health Trust for three years and only just got my head around their governing documents as I finished my term of office.
I know Rams Trust are expanding their knowledge all the time and are looking for members who have expertise in these areas.

Don't take this the wrong way, people, but I do wonder how diverse the EFL is. There is one woman on their Board, a former tennis player. What about the staff? Are they all men, all white, all a bit well-heeled? I don't get the impression that they view the game like the average football supporter, but I do get the impression that they think they know better than us!

So how is deducting 21 points helping us stay a member of the EFL? And as Roy Mac says I wasn't aware they had put us on notice of withdrawal of membership?
Its like saying your kidnapper is helping you because he hasnt killed you.. yet.

LazloW reacted to BBG83 in Tom Lawrence - Joined Rangers
He's going in January. For nothing. Definitely won't be helping Derby stay up.
He played well on Sunday. It will be his one in five. Plus he's got to put himself in the shop window now.
Everything thats wrong with Derby can be summed up by Tom Lawrence. We overpaid for him, he's overall under performed, he'll go for free, and he'll come back and score a hattrick against us followed by a knee slide and cupped ears in front of the South Stand.

That was my genuine answer to your genuine question.
Not sure how I can be anything but ultra defensive when questioned on my integrity, and not just mine but the moderators also.
There is this perception out there that you can't say anything negative about Mel on this forum, I personally remove the posts and ban the members which is simply not true, not sure how many times I can say this.
If any members truly believe this is the case and that I've somehow lied, there are other Derby County forums on the internet, we're not holding anyone hostage on here.

LazloW reacted to Orphanram in Staying up this season would be a greater achievement than winning the English League title.
If we get beaten by Fulham this thread will get the full ‘worst points tally in the top two divisions’ treatment alongside the ‘Rooney & his sidekick out’ thread getting a bump.

If all that is true, you’d expect his anger to have subsided significantly over the years having actually seen Waghorn play.
