Shame he’s going but always damage limitation. To get £1million is great. Derby is in administration! Need every penny.Keeping Ebosele, Lawrence and Knight is massive plus Plange can play the rest of the season. The squad will probably look quite different next season anyway. Looks a fantastic prospect but Derby will never hold onto top youngsters for long if not in prem and certainly not in administration. Got to be realistic.

What's irritating is that it's taken the EFL a couple of days at most to decide that this is allowed, but they've still made no decision on the status of Middlesbrough and Wycombe's claims, especially when the latter would provide far more relief for the situation we're in than the money we'll get from Palace.

What's the difference between us re-signing Plange on a short term deal from Palace, and re-signing Jagielka on a short term deal?

I think Thompson has been playing slightly worse each game for the last half dozen games. Not really badly but a little bit worse each time. The last 2 games show he needs a break,  If Shinnie was still here I think he would have started the last two.  Now we will have to wait till Bielik is ready to start a game.
He has become too negative on the ball. Just passing sideways and backwards taking us into possession cul de sacs. When Bielik can start, Boro? he will be able to come off the bench for him and may some confidence from having more space.

Started well. Lawrence will be the first to admit he should’ve buried that chance.
Cooper made the right change at the right time and we didn’t adapt to the change well.
Came out quick in 2nd half but the goal from a set piece was a sucker punch and put us on the back foot.
Ravel wanted too much time on the ball for a local Derby in the championship. Plange starting with Kaz coming on works better over the 90 too.
Their 2nd was great play from Johnson.
Cooks challenge for the penalty was a higher foot than Morrisons red card.
Samba has no right to charge out and try and start fights.
Colback is annoying Bamford but suits Forest down to the ground.
A game of what ifs after a bright start. We need to get through this month and concentrate on survival on and off the pitch.

I wouldn't get too down about this. We were just a bit off it today, it was bound to happen at some point. We've just come off a streak of 5 games unbeaten, 4 of them wins. It's just a shame it had to end against them lot. 
Even though it was a poor game, the key moments went against us. Each team had two chances, forest took theirs and we didn't. That's it. More or less every decision went their way and the referee allowed them to run the clock down at the end which was a complete disgrace.

Kudos to Sibley for not punching Colbeck btw. 
 

If that’s the best the Red Scum can do against a Derby County team at its lowest ebb in terms of squad depth and quality they are welcome to the win. We’ve got bigger fish to fry and they are not going up so it’s a bit of a free hit in my opinion - next weeks game is much more important to me and I can’t wait to be there. COYR.

Not even convinced Morrisons was a foul, he got the ball, maybe a yellow as his slide was out of control.

Ravel caught so many times in possession and now a red. Terrible performance by him.
