Feels like that has been the case for at least 4 seasons now!

Proper joke of a decision. I can understand if the ref had given it on instinct in a split second decision - but the fact that he watched it back and then gave it makes it worse.

If I'd played against someone who did a penalty run up like that, he'd have been smashed about 3 seconds after the restart.

I have a strong dislike for Bruno Fernandes. A talented footballer who cheats his way through games. There was no way that penalty should have been given and to see that twonk score makes it even worse.

Good game. Solid point, especially given the injuries. Pleasing to see us mix it up more but still feel we look to go long more often than needed, Cashin certainly did this a few times.

He might not progress to the player we hoped, but he hasn't had much chance to show it. Support him!!

Sibley also unlucky with some through balls. We tried quite a lot, most over hit but at least that is taking a risk in the right place. We didn't allow their defence to get set. Our attacking players must enjoy this approach more.

I thought he was better second half. Didn't dive into challenges, a lot more disciplined. 
Ideally he should be played as the most attacking midfielder, off a striker. He does need a run in the team, a run in the same position but we don't really have that luxury in squad depth right now.

I have since read that Forsyth was asked by the ref if he was the guilty party. Doesn't that call into question what exactly the ref saw? Mistaking a 6 for a 3? Mistaking someone 6'3 without a beard for someone under 6' with a beard?

We as a team didn't make enough "fuss" about it. We didn't immediately surround the ref. And Smith, well he just lay there in a crumpled heap. 
Over the last few seasons we have got away with far less than our opponents. I don't like it but we don't pressure the officials and try to con them like other teams do. Though I fear even if we did, we would be the ones in trouble.
