Oh god yeah - it's nuts, I do agree with you, I was only really just quibbling the idea that BTC is real like gold. You can't touch it, so it's not real to me - but I get the notion that it's more real than FIAT currency these days.

Right attacking mid? Really? A player with little pace, almost no acceleration, not a technical dribbler and almost no end product. Wing back for his stamina and ability to support both defensively and offensively, maybe, but an attacking right mid is insane to me. 
He’s a box to box midfielder who offers high energy and can keep the ball. He’s not a player you can rely on for creatively or goals, he just isn’t good enough technically, nor is he a defensively player. He’s simply a support midfielder. Get him in amongst it, he’s an asset, but he’s not a player you can rely on to win you games.

Yes there is a lot we can look at and dissect, how the players celebrated, how Jody Morris celebrated it, Lampard’s 11 in the play off final, Lampard’s failure in not getting that squad promoted, Morris’ spending gamble, the comparisons of then to now etc etc etc
But I can promise any Derby or other clubs fans reading this, I don’t think I’d trade you anything for the jubilation and emotions I felt that night. It didn’t mean anything in the end no, but it’s a game like this that watching football is all about. It’s not just an achievement feeling, it’s about doing the impossible

He's struggled with injury problems. If we were still in the same position as last year then I'd say worth a risk, but with some of the limitations on our transfer policy now lifted it seems stupid to me to sign another player who has a high risk of further injuries. May as well just keep Bielik or Chester if we want someone sitting in the treatment room all season.

I wasn’t being serious with my post, but we did only finish 2 points off automatic promotion that year!
we weren’t helped by the manager falling out with the board and the players arguing over promotion bonuses.  Jewel was also a terrible appointment. 

I was thinking the same thing. Forest get an unexpected point, Leeds get an unexpected point. You never know, Leicester might even get one.
I was kind of hoping out of the 3 of them, that Leicester would survive. But they’re buggered. We’re hoping for Forest to lose and Leeds or Leicester to win on the last day. We’re still hoping for that. Although I’m now going to feel really dirty hoping for a Leeds win. I don’t mind Leicester so much. (that’s almost a backhand insult against them, their ‘rivalry’ means so little to me).
And if it all goes wrong, and Forest sneak into safety, we’ve always got second season syndrome to look forward to. Sheffield United nearly broke our record in their second season.

We had claude davis and and dean leacock as our centre halves flanked by andy griffin and jay mackerly 
basically we did what forest did last year and spaff our way up through the play offs with a little lady luck..
the difference being we by and large had to settle with what got us there bar kenny miller (w***) claude davis (really w***) and the wing wizard that wasnt eddie lewis from then league 1 leeds.
oh to have had north of 150m to flash about .. who knows we may have got 15 points lol
