Limited time to be checking news yesterday. First thing I did on waking this morning. Not a hint regarding where we are with EFL anywhere online. Anyone else feeling sad/angry at where we are at today in particular? (No reflection on our on-field start to the season)

So tomorrow whilst other clubs are making signings on deadline day poor Rooney will be sat with his hands tied, we have a decent core of 12/13 players but we definitely need an extra 2/3 at least to help with injuries etc. We’ve seen after 5 games how costly not being able to finish games of have been, probably already 3 points less than we should be on! Players like Patrick Roberts can leave for free tomorrow hed be a perfect addition and we can’t even sign him! Rooney has done a great job keeping fans on side otherwise it could of been a very messy few weeks If we’d lost a few! It’s a shame it’s come to this but the EFL will be loving every minute

Roos…………5. Distribution awry at times and probably should’ve kept out the goal.
Byrne………..6. Some timely challenges. Some poorly executed corners. 
Forsyth……..7. Fantastic assist. Sloppy later due to tired legs.
Davies………7. Like the running out of defence with the ball. 
Jagielka……7. Blotted his exquisite copy book with a near disastrous gift pass first half.
Bird…………..8.  MotM. The cpu in the circuit. Won ball, Knitted, threaded, and spoiled.
Shinnie……..5. Quiet by his usual standards.
Morrison….7. Sublime. Beautiful poise & balletic. I want him to take more responsibility for the end product.
Sibley………6. Below par. Made a nuisance of himself but usually in isolation.
Jozwiak…..7. Playing further infield & knitting well with Lawrence & Morrison. Looks improved.
Lawrence….7. Great goal. A threat but took a knock and should’ve left the field sooner.
Stretton……6. So unlucky not to score. 
Buchanan (optional)…..7. Looked very dangerous and raided their defence at will. Should’ve been on sooner.
 
A very poor red dogs team should’ve been dead and buried by h-t when they were very vulnerable. Instead we took the foot off the gas and became disorganised. Shabby refereeing denied us 2 penalties. They were so lucky to emerge with a point, but Derby need to learn a more ruthless nature.

but now the dust has settled and the adrenaline has stopped pumping is anyone else absolutely bricking it that rooneys comments appear to suggest nothing is getting sorted out before transfer deadline day 
i know weve made a reasonable start but the squad is bare bones and while i thought we were absolutely outstanding first half the second in line with other games this season we lacked options from the bench and were unable to stem the change of the tide
Ill be v concerned if nothing changes by tuesday

we have looked good so far. But it’s a long season and a points deduction seems likely. So I think we need more depth 

I think we've got plenty of goals in us if we play like we did yesterday, particularly in the first half.
Stretton was millimetres from scoring, should have had at least one pen and with better decisions in the final third, could have had another two or three great opportunities.
Certainly feel we're much more of a threat than last season and much better without CKR up top on his own. ....as much as I love his effort and attitude, we're having to play differently without him. I do wonder if we'd signed Baldock before the season started whether that was the initial plan anyway and CKR would have been on the bench.
I initially questioned Rooney's appointment but I think he's doing a cracking job with what's at his disposal. Can't think of a game last season I enjoyed as much as the first half yesterday

Dude, stop stressing. We're in a better place than last season and we will again avoid relegation, hopefully a little more comfortably this time. After all, what's the worst that can happen?

You know, it’s nice to see a group of them out together again. A mix of old and new too.

It's easy to throw fault at the goalkeeper all the time, not one person has pointed out that we had 6 defenders in the box versus 5 attackers, yet somehow Brennan is left totally free on the edge of the box. Roos isn't solely to blame for that goal if people want to play the blame game.

A lot of this is down to the small squad and weak bench. We have to play players who aren't fully fit and make substitutions too late or not at all.

Yes depreciation and amortisation which is a fancy word for depreciation of a non capital item i.e. intangible such as a players contract can be offset against tax
