ref didn't do his job for the penalty. Would have made em sweat a bit for 25 minutes
Collins would’ve probably missed and tried to handball the rebound

You’re assuming LR was actually being given the opportunity to prove himself (in which case 9 games is far too little) rather than literally being asked the hold the fort as an interim manager until a permanent one was in place. Whether it’s right or wrong, I now firmly believe that LR was never in Clowes mind. In which case, the number games he was in charge is somewhat irrelevant. If LR had been given a four year contract there is no way he would have been relieved of the managerial job after just 9 games given the hand he was dealt and the decent job he was doing.
Fair point.
I think the sensible thing to have done. would've been to give Liam the job until the end of the season to prove himself. The situation we now have is that this season is effectively a write off as we have a manager that isn't suited to our squad and doesn't look like he's going to budge his style. I'm not sure next season will be much better as we still can't spend next summer.

Do we really judge managers on their records after 5 league games, three of which have been heavily influenced by incompetent officiating? It's not really compatible with the responsible ownership model that I think the vast majority of fans were espousing as the way forward, is it?
The collective hysteria is getting a bit much.
Apparently 9 league games was enough for Rosenior.
He's got 4 games left.

Just got home. That was awful, zero shots on target in league 1 against anyone is unacceptable. Wish we’d given Liam another month at least

Strange that we've not done the usual windows for different levels of away membership. I'd imagine that anyone that wants to go will get a ticket anyway though.

Ipswich tickets selling well this morning. Any idea how many seats are in block V1 and V2 - both nearly sold out with only block E left after

Your very sure of yourself when you clearly know nothing.
I have family who live in both USA and Canada. They are massive Royalists along with many people they know.
America on its own bring that many visitors to the UK who tour our country because of the Royals. Most of their trip is based around them.
China is exactly the same, they love our Monarchs.
You’ve clearly got your own grievance for some reason.
This is the biggest myth going.
William alone gets £22m a year. You're not telling me we get that much from tourists coming solely to see and follow the royals.
If you believe the royals bring in more money than they cost the taxpayer then you'll believe anything.

Why not ?
It’s not a small sacrifice is it. People will have booked trains and hotels, to cancel a match at less than 48 hours notice during the cost of living crisis is ridiculous. What’s wrong with a minute silence and black armbands. If people want to mourn then don’t go but don’t force it on everyone

Whether you’re a royalist or. Republican, by living in the UK we are all choosing to live in a monarchy. The country’s sovereign of over 70 years has just died; doesn’t she deserve a few days of small sacrifice as a mark of respect?
No. Next question

Do youth international call ups count towards getting a fixture postponed? Just wondered.
I doubt it mate

Stuff like this needs regulating. If there are no trains back after the match it shouldn't be allowed. It's a crap journey by car anyway let alone having to do it on a Friday evening.

Get Dobbin in the box playing off Collins. He reminds me of @Dean (hick) Saunders when he runs with the ball and will be a total nightmare for defenders in the penalty area.
He will get no joy playing off Collins I'm afraid. Collins can't head or hold the ball up. Not sure what he offers.

Won’t be getting out this league with Collins up front all season. He offers nothing

Bit of a longshot but is anyone selling (or knows someone that is selling) 2 tickets in the upper tier at QPR? Just gone to buy my tickets and there's only the front rows of the lower tier left.
Cheers

So we’ve ended up going with the bloke who bid in November. If we had competent admins we’d have got it sorted before January and kept Jagielka, Shinnie and Ebosele. Well done Quantuma

Maybe just wishful thinking but I can’t see anyone buying the club and not offering enough funds to avoid the further 15 points deductions.
The admins have been dealt a difficult hand with Boro case and the stadium issues but they have made a pigs ear of this. The two options in January were either sell players and accept relegation but avoid any further points deductions. Or hold on to players, risk the 15 points but have a good chance of staying up. If what is being reported is true we are going to have the worst of both worlds. Relegation and -15 points -

I am seriously depressed. I don’t mind getting relegated but selling the young players we’ve not been allowed to give contracts to for peanuts is depressing. Dark times ahead
