I bet it was Gibson's plan all along to settle it after the transfer window. He knew he didn't have a case and wouldn't win in court but knew we wouldn't be able to sign anyone in January. Banker

Referee tomorrow night is
GEOFF ELTRINGHAM
22 games.... 18 championship 3 Lg1 and 1 league cup.
91 yellows 2 reds
This is his 3rd Derby game this season Luton at Home and Fulham away.
He's the muppet who let Fulham stop the game for a minor injury. The player didn't even go off for treatment and instead of giving us the ball back in their half he let Fulham boot the ball up the other end for a throw in. Nearly put my foot through the TV watching it.

Why on earth do we not get prem refs for these games

Gibson basically wants us to be liquidated so Mel has paid £70m for an empty stadium and he has to settle the £30m debt with MSD. He as good as admitted that in his letter, the fact Derby County and 50,000 supporters have been caught in the crossfire of this vendetta is irrelevant to such a small man like him. Karma will get him eventually and Derby will be back even if we have to start from the bottom

Trying to take the moral high ground when he is blackmailing a club days away from liquidation. I'd rather liquidate than give him a penny.
Why are our admins fees of any concern to him?
Why does he need to know about MSD?
-
We are just going round in circles. The EFL are blaming the admins, the admins have made it clear we can't name a PB until the EFL sort these claims out. Where does this end other than liquidation?
-
Speaking to a Boro fan at work and he reckons Gibson hardly goes to the games so I suspect he may stay in Guernsey for this one
-
I have slept on it and decided I'd rather start as a phoenix club than give Gibson and that banker at Wycombe a penny
-
Does anyone have a link to hear this?
-
Whats that song Man Utd used to sing about the Glazers? Jelly and Icecream when they die?
Should sing that on repeat for 90 mins on Feb 12th about that banker Gibson
-
Officially starting to panic now after reading that.
Boro and Wycombe aren't going to back down (bankers)
EFL don't care about our history and will happily make an example of us. They will be glad to be rid of us.
Only hope is that PB throws caution to the wind and decides to buy the club and take them both on (very slim chance)
I don't know where we go from here.

We need to try and sell out at home to Birmingham or get as close to 30k as possible
-
The interview with the chap from Radio Teeside was what angered me so much last night. Their whole attitude of 'it's not our problem' absolutely stinks. Boro are now up there with Forest and Leeds for me. This should never be forgotten. The Wycombe case is laughable and they have got no chance of anything other than a minor out of court agreement
-
Link to Steve Gibson’s company if anyone wants to join me in giving them a 1 star review on Google

Don't understand why he can't play tomorrow if his contract runs out on Monday?
I had a feeling this would happen, they only let us sign him and Baldock cos Bielik and Kazim were injured. Now they're both fit I feared renewing contracts would be difficult.
-
Is anyone else starting to panic yet because I am
-
Why on earth are some morons chanting Keogh
-
Should've played the covid card and stayed at home
-
Don't know if I'm more annoyed about England's batting or BT's coverage. It is absolutely shocking, don't bother buying the rights if you're not going to send commentators. They'd be better doing a deal with BBC and using their commentary than having the Aussies. First and last time I'll be staying up and feeling this knackered at work

The way I see things are that HMRC aren’t going to reduce the debt by a single penny whilst we have sellable assets at the club like Bird, Bielik, Sibley, Buchanan, Knight, Thompson, Lawrence etc. If these players are sold for say £10m and we put that towards the repayment they may do us a deal then. The worst is yet to come if we sell all those players we will be lucky to stay in league 1 next season

They are entitled to take legal action against us if they wish but it should definitely be shouted about and not hidden under a carpet so that every other club knows exactly what’s going on and maybe we should be definitely stating that we have a provable case against QPR and let other clubs have an opinion. If we still had an owner I believe things would be different.
personally I will be boycotting Middlesbrough away as I will not put any money towards Gibsons club ( I do not blame the actual supporters)
But that’s the point. We haven’t got a prove-able case against QPR just like they haven’t got a prove-able case against us and they know that. The only reason they are getting a penny out of us is because they are stalling the takeover and putting us on the verge of liquidation. If we weren’t in admin we would fight it off easily

Easy to say it in hindsight but probably would’ve been a good game for Stearman’s experience
