Unlike most of us lot Max can probably remember what playing football aged 12 feels like. I do think that his form has steadily improved all season and that we are much the better for it. Being on field captain at his age must have felt a daunting task at times for a young guy, but he seems to be growing into the role with every game. His referee management is now much more frequent, for example, chipping away like Savage used to do.

I think we should sign someone who is dead good…

Sheffield Utd maybe wanted more playing time for him, something which we cant guarantee for the remainder of the season so I'd not be stunned to see him loaned out to another L1 club before the end of Jan.
It's a shame as he has raw ability in a way that if he was one of our own he'd be one of those impact subs that would have us excited and blocking Crystal Palace scouts from the ground.
It may mean that Warne now has a forward to look for as well as the obvious defensive options he needs to explore.

Hopefully we don't get mixed up with the comedian.

Paul Warne could be looking to slightly alter his recruitment strategy. At Rotherham he brought in young , athletic players that had no problem getting out of Div 1 . However they bounced straight back down from the Championship on a regular basis.(and look like doing again). A couple of class Prem loans  i.e Mount &Timori sprinkled in with our golden oldies could be the Championship formula.

Yes he did well, influenced the game more and scored a nice goal. 
I think Knight's inclusion was a big help for him and Bird, it gave them space to play in the gaps Knight created and Knight's closing down gave them more time on the ball.

Do we need extra cover at CB? Forsyth and Cashin are outstanding. We have Davies, Stearman, Rooney and Chester as cover. Mostly geriatric cover, but it’ll do. A right back is a must though!

In the Championship Norwich have just sacked their manager whilst in 5th place, Swansea City in 16th place are one of 12 teams only 3 points behind Norwich.
Burnley and Sheffield United seem well clear which leaves 14 clubs with a dream of the promised land (sound familiar) with some rather large egos masquerading as club chairman amongst that lot with their fans looking for a bit of fresh blood to boost their promotion push.
………..personally if Knight, Cashin, Bird and Sibley are still here at the end of January then I’d be absolutely chuffed!
