Jourdan got a reaction from Dordogne-Ram in Derby vs Ipswich (H) Match Thread
Ipswich were deserved winners.
They have such a good balance for this league - pace, power, physicality, height, tenacity, a command of the dark arts, but also the capability of playing some good, fast, attacking football.
They are what Rotherham under Warne might have been if he’d had a bigger budget.
I can understand the disappointment. It’s an awful run we’re on. But I don’t think there’s much point digging into Warne or the team.
We are evidently still a work in progress.

Ipswich have won six in a row and their team is full of pace, height and physicality.
It’s clear to see why Warne has tried something different. It could be a masterstroke, it could be a disaster.
Time will tell, but you can’t blame him for trying.
For weeks, we have had posters on here saying that Warne is tactically inept, so you can’t be surprised he’s trying to be more proactive.

Ipswich have a more balanced side than us, which is understandable given the different parameters we are working to.
Ipswich can spend big on fees and wages, whereas we are having to work under restrictions and with a squad that has a few glaring holes.
Warne experimented with the starting XI. It hasn’t worked on the whole. Let’s see if he can change things up in the second half.

Jourdan reacted to Gaspode in Serial Whingers Notts Forest playtime, which we simply cannot accept.
I've just had a little wander around twitter as Cooper is trending - when you see the selfies that a lot of the Forest fans have taken with the man, he really doesn't look that 'unusual'.....

Jourdan got a reaction from Premier ram in James Collins
Collins is obviously a confidence player and is obviously used to being a big fish in a small pond and having a team built around him and having everyone’s love.
We’ve built our team around McGoldrick and I would say this has affected Collins.
He will obviously want to play and he will obviously want to make a difference. With him, you feel he’s likely trying too hard to make an impression.
He’s becoming much maligned because he is everything that McGoldrick is not.

I think you are spot on with the "trying too hard" hence the being out of position etc. was same at start of season. Great away at Cambridge and thereafter now back to start of season.
to his credit he is perhaps trying to be too much of a team player at the detriment of his own game - sorry know its not real but jamie tartt ted lasso episode springs to mind where he's told to go back to being a selfish d**k.

Jourdan reacted to wixman1884 in Paul Warne appointed as Head Coach
Something needs to change now. Steve McClaren and Chris Martin are getting older every year, and the window is closing on fulfilling my ultimate derby county fantasy

Yes and its @David with his "just promote us now thread"!!! Right up there with the gypsy curse. I'm sort of joking but also sort of believe it esp the longer this just goes on. I know I am crazily superstitious but I dont care

Why is everyone so worried?
Virgin will be round on Monday to fix the Internet in the Warne household.
Just in time for him to read the forum, learn how to manage second halves, and guide us to an 11-match winning run.
See you at Wembley, folks.

Great performance. Constant threat - unlucky not to score a bagfull to be honest.
Wasn't able to catch the 2nd half can someone fill me in on what happened?

Jourdan reacted to Rammy03 in Peterborough United vs Derby County
In my mind realistically playoffs were the target at the start of the season. We're in 6th place and that's what we're currently fighting for. Heck a lot of people on here were saying top 10 and they'd be happy so the meltdown is a bit embarrassing.
We've dropped off it a little but it happens. The reason it looks bad is because we went on that unbelievable unbeaten run.
We've got a tough game next week but after that we should be able to pick up points. If we don't then we don't deserve playoffs. But I think we can get back on track and do it. Once you're in there it's all up for grabs. No need for all the negativity. We're still in the fight for promotion. COYR.

Jourdan got a reaction from Premier ram in Playoffs
Peterborough and Ipswich will be really tough.
But provided we don’t lose both, things should still be in our hands.
Even then, we play MK Dons and Burton at home and Forest Green, Exeter and Bristol Rovers away in the five games after that - which are awkward but all winnable if we play anywhere close to how we know we can.
Today was a bitter pill to swallow but we are still in control of our destiny.
