to be fair it’s a nonsense of a second yellow. And VAR can’t intervene in yellows because they made it an arbitrary rule
edit: actually it can intervene in yellows to overturn a penalty or upgrade to a straight red 🤣

If they’d been able to sign Waghorn ahead of us in 2018, they’d be defending their Club World Cup title this evening

so might there be any reason Arsenal would recall him?
Nketiah is a crap finisher? -
Looks like quite a kind group draw!
On current form would like to see Anthony Gordon in ahead of Rashford

We’d have had more games had we not gone out in the first round of the FA cup

Derby go out the FA cup, outrageous since 1946 😁
how many times have we gone out at home in the first round to a league two side? -
Serves them right for Malcom Christie’s hat trick goal being disallowed against them about 25 years ago

Sterling not recalled despite being in form. Assume he’s fallen out with Southgate as old favourites Phillips and Hendo are there

Sancho’s record in Germany was phenomenal. He looked like a world beater, until you took into account the opposition
I think Sancho’s struggles in the PL are more to do with poor coaching and lack of discipline than a sudden step in the quality of the league.
He’s not even allowed to eat in the Man Utd canteen at the moment!
would be interesting to see how he would get on somewhere more stable where he’s supported instead of isolated

Charlton drew at home to their local rivals from the 8th tier. That’s a division below Mickleover.

I never want Derby to lose but might have taken that if it guaranteed Warne out…

Same here, but a lot of people on here often come out with, "we can't afford to sack him, so get behind him." I just think Clowes is trying to avoid making the same mistakes Mel made, and one of them was being very quick to sack managers.
He’s had over a year and gone backwards. This isn’t a Clement type situation where the manager is sacked after 10 games and only a few points off the top
also will cost Clowes more in the long run with lost revenue. We’re losing out on some cup money here, league cup already gone

e had 3 promotions from this division on his cv?
I hate this stat. He has so many promotions because he wasn’t good enough to keep Rotherham in the championship.
Now he’s gone they’re an established championship side

Clowes has no interest in sacking managers
He effectively sacked Rosenoir for not having enough experience. Looks a poor decision
