Translated - 🚨 Djurgårdens IF and Derby County FC agree on a transfer for Jacob Widell Zetterström. The English club pays around SEK 20 million plus bonuses to buy the 26-year-old off. The goalkeeper must undergo a medical examination and sign before being presented.

20 million Swedish Krona is just under 1.5 million pound!!! Maybe we have more money than we think.

Always thinks it gets hyped up at the other end. I can't see us paying £1.5 million for him. Maybe in total across bonuses and add ons etc.

Like with Adams reports that it was 900k-£1million but then Radio Derby saying its 500k plus add ons.

Think your right, could be a bad translation and it means that’s the total fee after all add ons and bonuses + an extra couple hundred thousand to keep fans happy as their fans don’t seem too happy about selling him.

Article says our initial bid was 14M Kr with bonuses up to 20M Kr, which was rejected.

Expect a 4yr contract to spread it out, it does seem high, but I suppose only in context with our other spends? I wonder if the reduced wages balances it better against the fee + wages for Iversen too.

Interesting point on this is reports are he’ll actually play for Djurgarden on Thursday in their European qualification game before joining us. I beg he doesn’t get injured.

I suppose 'keepers are a lot less likely to be injured, but it would be very Derby if he did

A quick Google exchange says £1.4million? 🤐

Is anyone else really pleasantly surprised by the business we've done so far this summer?

Using the European market, sensible fees, clear strategy signings round pegs for round holes...really impressed so far.

It is very good so far. Let’s see if we can finish it off this strongly. 3 or 4 more do we think? ST, 10/Winger, LB, CB? Gives me good confidence we can with how we’ve done so far.

I think at least one centre-half with pace. A left-wing back. Another central midfielder. A winger/10 (Dembele please) and a big no.9 up front.

So I'm going to guess it'll be five more through the door (not including Zetterstrom and Ozoh).

I think after Ozoh, JWZ and a LWB we might be waiting for one or two to leave before signing. Warne said he wants 2 goalies in so maybe Luthra as third choice and then a 10/Winger, Striker and a Centre back brings us 12 (Gk x2, LWB, CB, Ebou, Kenzo, Osborn, Ozoh, Yates, Jackson, 10/W, New ST)
