Hladky is a funny one - but the problem with being linked to Rodak, Iversen and Ryan is that the expectation levels get raised. He's had a very good year, but spent the majority of his Ipswich contract as back-up in League One - he got into the team as Walton was injured at the start of the season and kept the shirt. All that being said, he's actually done pretty well (he was rated in Scotland and League Two TOTY while at Salford). He's a very viable, good option for us. I still really hope it's Ryan, personally. Well of the 3 keepers mentioned, he's the most underwhelming by far. So, don't think it's that out there. He'll be 34 in November, and despite playing every game last season, only played 13 League One games in 2 seasons prior, and he was League 2 before that. In defence of @SECornerRAM they broke injury news before a number of matches last season that hadn’t been mentioned anywhere else. Also mentioned the Icelandic midfielder Thordarson back at the start of June which was way before this weekend’s story by a Danish journalist. Has also got some bits wrong I think. But there’s at least some suggestion of them having a source at the club, or having a wire tap in an office, or compromising pictures of Matt Hamshaw or something leading to at least some sort of info leak.
