2024 loans out

A hat trick is a hat trick, but it was against a team from the NLN, a division lower than Gateshead. Let’s hope they give him a shot in the league.

Playing him in the Cup, how very dare they! 😄 As you say though, goals is goals and strikers get picked out by them.

It was the quarter final of the FA Trophy so a pretty big deal. And now through to the semi-finals.

Well done Dajaune! Great he's found his scoring boots. Looks really promising.

Dajaune has strength and power. I always felt he was a little reluctant to use it.

If this loan allows him to feel more comfortable doing so, he's going to be some player.

Great positional sense again for his goal!

"You've heard of the Bear [the nickname for one of Gateshead's forwards], we've also got the Beast".

Dajaune "the Beast" Brown!!!!!

Should have called this thread something around Dajaune Brown - I thought at the time, other key U21s would be out on loan.

Dajaune played the full game yesterday as Gateshead lost 4-2 away at Ebbsfleet. A Gateshead central defender was sent off after 5 minutes, so Brown's striking partner was sacrificed meaning it was probably a tough game. No goals for our boy, but Gateshead were 1-2 up at half-time. Guessing they ran out of steam.

The question before us is, with Gayle presumably out, do we recall Dajaune from Gateshead for the Northampton game?

Or do we rely on Waghorn, or NML, or try to play without a recognized striker?

Called up to Jamaica under 23s, so no.
