Mucker1884
So here's my thoughts on the matter... @Foreveram knew exactly what he was doing sneaking that little "Saturday" into his post, and I suspect he's still sat at home rubbing his hands in glee, even now, a day later, joyous at the fact he caught a few! ... And so he should! 😁 Good angling, sir!

It’s just that Saturday match day is more of, well a match day, while night matches are a bit more condensed for most people. Six weeks In between matches is a long time. Another indication that the Charlton game could be postponed, although tickets are still on sale on the ticket site, on the news site they are advertising the Cambridge, Exeter and Northampton games home games but not Charlton. PistoldPete
We might be missing NML plus a couple of reserves. But if we also still have loads of injuries could be worth postponing this game.

A gap of six weeks. That really is rubbish. Midweek games nightmare for us 😢 Rev
europia
On 27/09/2023 at 13:13, Ian Buxton's Bat said: I'd rather the EFL took the same view as the Premier League do to AFCON when dealing with League 1 and international breaks i.e. tough luck, play the games with players missing and get on with it. One of the things I've really enjoyed about being in this God awful division is the regularity of Saturday afternoons and ability to plan your life. Yes, I said similar when we were relegated. The more games on Saturday the better. Postponing games in the 3rd tier of football for an international break is just daft. Actually, the introduction of international breaks in English football hasn't resulted in any success for the national team. Wolfie20
On holiday for 3 weeks in October, booked before the fixtures came out so thought I was doing well to just miss the one home match. Now I don't miss any but sorry for all those who now have to change their travel plans, some at a hefty cost.

Don't fret mate. We flew on a Friday 13th once, and it wasn't too bad. Don't believe all those stories about impending doom, terror, horrendous delays, mid-air tyre changes, jet-fighter escorts, lightning bolts, snowy runways, Texans on the next seat etc You'll be fine.
