So here's my thoughts on the matter...

@Foreveram knew exactly what he was doing sneaking that little "Saturday" into his post, and I suspect he's still sat at home rubbing his hands in glee, even now, a day later, joyous at the fact he caught a few!

... And so he should!  😁

Good angling, sir!

Not at all, you’re confusing me with someone else 😂.

It’s just that Saturday match day is more of, well a match day, while night matches are a bit more condensed for most people.

Six weeks In between matches is a long time.

Another indication that the Charlton game could be postponed, although tickets are still on sale on the ticket site, on the news site they are advertising the Cambridge, Exeter and Northampton games home games but not Charlton.

I'd rather the EFL took the same view as the Premier League do to AFCON when dealing with League 1 and international breaks i.e. tough luck, play the games with players missing and get on with it.

One of the things I've really enjoyed about being in this God awful division is the regularity of Saturday afternoons and ability to plan your life.

Yes, I said similar when we were relegated. The more games on Saturday the better. Postponing games in the 3rd tier of football for an international break is just daft.

Actually, the introduction of international breaks in English football hasn't resulted in any success for the national team.

For a massive selfish point of view hope it is called off , as i am in Poland that day, going for a week friday 13th to friday 20th of October, fingers crossed i will not miss it.

Don't fret mate.
We flew on a Friday 13th once, and it wasn't too bad.
Don't believe all those stories about impending doom, terror, horrendous delays, mid-air tyre changes, jet-fighter escorts, lightning bolts, snowy runways, Texans on the next seat etc

You'll be fine.
