It wasn't so long ago that transfer embargo was closing in on us but we were being linked with players we presumably could not have been in for (although actually I wouldn't rule anything out from that era!) If any of these ex-Rotherham players were part of their promotion teams what is wrong with signing them. Are we not looking for promotion from the same division. Makes perfect sense to me. Just to be pedantic, he played just 10 minutes of football for Rotherham in 21/22 when promoted from L1 under Warne.
