How good is NML

Neither of us can brag where we are compared to our rivals

Neither of us have had Billy Sharp playing for us so that keeps us streets ahead.  Not much output from him nowadays it seems.  I assume he's finally eaten that huge chip on his shoulder to go with the other half ton he consumes daily and combusted.

Quick bump on this thread. This lad is so bloody good and so often the catalyst for our better performances. Pace to burn, strikes the ball so sweetly too, seldom trying to bury it, just guiding it calmly out of reach. Another player who must be a nightmare to play against as he's built like an outdoor dunny, but is also deceptively rapid.

Didzy got the glory today and rightly so, but it was Nate who set us on the road and steadied nerves enough to allow us to play our football. A tip-top performance and a very welcome one at that.

Bearing in mind our terrible state in the summer was an amazing signing. We have such an extra edge going forward when he plays (and he is very easy on the eye -sorry!!!)

The only fault with NML, is that he can't keep up that speed for 90 mins. Warne knows this and always looks to replace him with young legs (i.e Dobbin or Osula).

I don't think that anyone, Warne included, expects the wingers to keep up their speed for 90 minutes. Warne has said, and McClaren before him, that the idea is to run themselves into the ground and then be replaced with fresh legs. If the wingers are on their last legs then the opposition fullbacks should be too. We make attacking changes, the opposition are forced into defensive changes.
