One who I think is a shame if we lose him but again can’t blame him moving onto a championship side, also didn’t we pick him up from West Ham so may have ties in the London area?

He’s been given less of a chance than other youngsters in the last year, shame really as he seemed to have a bit of “go forward” in him.

After wednesday failed "deadline" the statement released that night said that they expect it to be completed Thursday. Yesterday's statement gave no indication of it being completed today. Is this a sign these issues are worse than first feared?

Another one we took of the scrapheap repaying the club.  Enjoy playing in that terraced house.  Don't let the door hit you on the arse.

Harsh. Currently behind Bielik, Bird, Knight, LThompson in the CM role. Sibley ahead in the AM role. Hourihane coming in and will be ahead too. A few younger players on the fringe of the squad too, such as DRobinson and Aghatise

None of them? Hourihane looks a certainty to be joining as soon as we're out of admin for starters...

Based on what?  If he gets an offer from a championship club he'll be there. Can see no reason why a current international with other suitors surely at a higher level would rock up here.  Alright if he does but how would we pay him, especially with everyone sodding off at a rate of knots.  We must need 16 players at this stage. That's a million quid in agent fees  and signing on fees even at this level at a guesstimate

If the club didn't offer him a contract, what's he supposed to do?

Based on media reports, which suggest he's already agreed to come. Championship sides are unlikely to offer him the game time he wants, the ones which can will still have a similar or smaller budget than us.
An international side which contained many L1 players last season - McClean, Ogbene, Will Keane, Horgan, Taylor, Curtis, just to name a few. The current Ireland manager picks his squad based on ability, not league or reputation.
We can afford to pay him like any other club affords to pay their players. A mixture of club generated revenue and an owner pumping money in. Bit of a silly statement from you really... we'll have one of the biggest wage bills in L1 next season. "especially with everyone sodding off" surely means it becomes even easier to afford him.
More like 10 new players to be signed. There's also a strong chance we'll be limited by how much we can offer agents. For example, a punishment for failing P&S is a max agent fee of 3% of a players basic salary. Aside from Sheff Weds and Ipswich, the highest amount paid to agents in L1 last season was £355,774. Coincidentally, they had only just exited administration prior to the summer transfer window.

He was at sheff United last season and hardly got any minutes - if he wants to play football regularly we are a very attractive proposition and I suspect fairly local to where he lives
