JuanFloEvraTheCocu'sNesta
I reckon this means the takeover is done.
Mostyn6
Another in the list of failed dutch managers. Seems that they just don’t fit in with the English game as coaches/managers, in spite of obvious class, intelligence and integrity.

derbydaz22
Gutted but after the last two performances something had to change,I wish him all the best and he certainly deserves a bit more luck in his next job.
SouthernRam
Right decision for all parties. Cocu has carried himself with grace through a messy year for the club. I’m glad we could come to an agreement without sacking him outright. All the best for the future Phil.
RamNut
He was a nice guy, but ultimately didn’t seem to have much to contribute. no wish list of signings. Never made his mind up about his first 11. Regurgitated all the nonsense about the philosophy of the club. It feels a bit like when Colin Addison left. I remember the DET headline ”Sad, disappointed but relieved” I expect that is exactly how he feels.
Chester40
Was Cocu in... until the back to back home defeats against 'teams' we should be beating. I aways go back to the Norwich game where we kinda parked the bus, got the 3 points but it really accelerated the spiral into horribly negative football. Shame, but had to be done. eccles the ram
So sad for one of the few 'nice guys' in football. Results are the b all and end all so he unfortunately had to go. Hope deep down he still is a ram. Best of luck for the future Phil whatever club you go to!

IronRam 140.6
This all reminds me of a guy who works for me in my team at work, sound bloke. But the role he is in, he just isn't suited to and he doesn't realise or accept it if I point out other options. Cocu strikes me as a DOF or coach rather than Man/Team manager. A Planner that has somehow found himself in Operations. Best of Luck though.

The worry is that Pardew, Hughes, Howe and Monk are available. I always find this the most stressful time - waiting to hear who we get next. I still think it will be Rooney plus one. I think it was inevitable but I'm still really sad about it. COYR ? I wouldn’t call Howe a worry. If we got Howe in our position I think it would be a coup. dajstrawb
Quite gutted for the man. So desperately wanted him to succeed. Don’t want to take this off topic but if we’d somehow managed to keep Chris Martin, this would’ve all been different. Just my opinion, but one I believe strongly in

alexxxxx
Set up to fail from the start I'm afraid. Goes all the way to chelsea taking the piss signing Frank. Let down by players driving drunk. Let down by the EFL and their transfer embargo. Probably felt pressure to build a bit round Rooney as clearly not his signing. Covid messed up any plans.. Last transfer window a shambles. Feel bad for the guy could never get going but ultimately couldn't get the players he's got to play for him. Why does everyone now think he’s crap? If Bournemouth had clicked into gear one game earlier at the end of last season he would of kept them up. If you aren’t a top 7 or 8 club in the prem it’s only a matter of time before your time comes for relegation or a struggle. He kept them up there for so much longer than anyone would have predicated and he got them there in the first place. Would 100 per cent take him. r_wilcockson
As much as I'm relieved as we were only going in one direction, I'm also a bit heartbroken. Every Derby fan will hold him in the highest regard despite having one of the worst records. A gentleman personified.
