He was a nice guy, but ultimately didn’t seem to have much to contribute.

no wish list of signings. Never made his mind up about his first 11.
Regurgitated all the nonsense about the philosophy of the club.

It feels a bit like when Colin Addison left.

I remember the DET headline

”Sad, disappointed but relieved”

I expect that is exactly how he feels.

Was Cocu in... until the back to back home defeats against 'teams' we should be beating.

I aways go back to the Norwich game where we kinda parked the bus, got the 3 points but it really accelerated the spiral into horribly negative football.

Shame, but had to be done.

This all reminds me of a guy who works for me in my team at work, sound bloke. But the role he is in, he just isn't suited to and he doesn't realise or accept it if I point out other options.

Cocu strikes me as a DOF or coach rather than Man/Team manager.

A Planner that has somehow found himself in Operations.

Best of Luck though.

Thank heavens Pullis, McCarthy and Warnock are in jobs.

The worry is that Pardew, Hughes, Howe and Monk are available.

I always find this the most stressful time - waiting to hear who we get next.

I still think it will be Rooney plus one.

I think it was inevitable but I'm still really sad about it.

COYR ?

I wouldn’t call Howe a worry. If we got Howe in our position I think it would be a coup.

Set up to fail from the start I'm afraid.

Goes all the way to chelsea taking the piss signing Frank.

Let down by players driving drunk.

Let down by the EFL and their transfer embargo.

Probably felt pressure to build a bit round Rooney as clearly not his signing.

Covid messed up any plans.. Last transfer window a shambles.

Feel bad for the guy could never get going but ultimately couldn't get the players he's got to play for him.

The change in public perceptions of Eddie Howe are utterly bizarre. Why does everyone now think he’s crap?

If Bournemouth had clicked into gear one game earlier at the end of last season he would of kept them up. If you aren’t a top 7 or 8 club in the prem it’s only a matter of time before your time comes for relegation or a struggle. He kept them up there for so much longer than anyone would have predicated and he got them there in the first place. Would 100 per cent take him.
