The plant produces that awful taste in it's bulb so as not to be eaten by animals. It didn't count on humans though. Formula 1 racing. Yawn. About as interesting as a tennis match or golf. Belfast was terrible- wound up in some bar full of ultra unionists that was like the Slaughtered Lamb in American Werewolf in London. You realise your getting a bit to jaded with this kind of endeavour, when you wish you could check out some of the interesting historical places your walking past as well as pubs. Dont know how long since you were in Belfast but I think its a great place. Plenty of bars with live music and great atmosphere, the Cathedral quarter is really good too with great bars and restaurants. I think its a really nice friendly place to go, better than Dublin for me for bars as nowhere near as commercialised. To be fair, it was 12 years ago and I have been back since and it wasn't so bad . That was a more cultured adventure though taking in some history as well as pubs . For anyone going there for the Titanic related stuff. Go to the pump house where it was docked . Living history and I preferred it to the big fancy museum.
