Nothing like an overreaction on a friendly ?

I agree a little, but we haven’t created in many chances/scored  in the little pre-season that is a worry don’t you think?

Not really, we're missing a huge amount of senior players and we're against a good solid premier league side and trying a new formation. We'll be fine.

Got a sneaking suspicion we will play 3 at the back away from home against the better teams in the division but then switch back to 433/4231 in games we will look to dominate the ball, IE. At home

Hope not as we will score hardly any, we haven't got players who are natural wingbacks and it affects the creativity of the team.

Not convinced at all by the way we’ve handled pre season to be honest. Mismatch of sides put out (not helped by injuries to be fair) and very few players have 90 minutes under their belts. No real partnerships being built in the side, and loads of random youths getting minutes who aren’t going to feature (if we want to have much chance anyway). Doesn’t feel like we’re ready for the season to be honest. Desperately need some attacking quality or well struggle to score any goals in the opening couple of league games.

I have a feeling we shaped up this way due to the personnel available and to counter Sheffield United.

Alarm bells should be ringing. It’s not panic stations just yet but we are woefully one dimensional in the final third and can’t really see Waghorn plugging the gap. Marriott worked his nads off but we have no system in the final third ... we look a bit more set at the back but any hard-working side will match us in the Championship.

Very forgettable.

three at the back means even fewer attacking players on the pitch. We find ever more inventive ways to be slow, defensive and tame. Good performances from Te weirik, Evans and Clarke. Other than that we were utterly dour and toothless.

hopefully somebody got something out of it.

How do you know who's available? Who's been carrying injuries and needs to heal? How are the rest of Championship sides doing in the same circumstances? Do you reckon all their fans are loving the way they're shaping up? Relax. It's weird times, but we've got a proper manager, a proper owner, and we'll be fine.

Hope so, still think we desperately need some new talent in the final 3rd
