Not expecting it this season as nothing has been said, but that promise has been made for about the last three seasons. I think it was partly to encourage people to renew before the early-bird deadline. The lost ticket revenue would be dwarfed by the Premier League riches if we went up. "Renew before end of March, when we have no idea whether we will get promotion or not and if we do, you can all have a full refund, as a thank you for your loyalty" type thing. Anyone renewing later were out of the equation. Nobody is certain whether the offer still stands, but if it does, I suspect it will only be those that renewed in the early bird period. I'm not fussed either way, but I think the pay it forward idea is great, I'll go for the Derby County Community Trust as my charity should it happen. As I say, I don't think the offer is applying this year as nothing has been said. You might get lucky though if he's feeling particularly generous after a Wembley victory.
