Yep. Said we could get it cheap seeing as how you lot booked it for the playoffs but didn't get to use it.

Cheers Derby ?

Again, the majority of us never thought we would go up at any point the season gone.

Doesn't matter. By the laws of DCFCfans, one drongo fan tweeting = all of your fan base believe in it.

Hence David's silly post about us claiming the league will be won in September.

Glad to clear that up for you..

"Morris out" "Derby going to win the playoffs with ease"

I could find several posters (hell even threads) suggesting as much.

My point remains, a few drongos, (most of which are likely posting in jest) doesn't represent the viewpoints of an entire fanbase.

I think we'll challenge more more this season, but I won't make a judgment until at least 10 games.

http://sportwitness.co.uk/mendes-duo-end-offered-wolves-club-look-offload-summer/

The pair, currently at Fiorentina, were sent to Italy by the Portuguese agent last summer, but haven’t set the world alight.

Signed by Monaco in 2015, Dias is currently with the Serie A club on a two-year loan with a view to buy at €20m, while Gaspar was transferred permanently from Vitoria Guimaraes last summer for €4.5m.

Calciomercato in Italy are suggesting there’s a good chance Fiorentina will look to somehow get rid of the duo, with Dias, described as ‘excelling in wasting counter-attacks and in his numerous failed dribbles’, returning to Monaco and Bruno Gaspar going somewhere on loan.

The Serie A side are aware they might struggle to recoup their €4.5m, although if Mendes is involved, nothing is impossible.

It will be kind of intresting over at the council ground - will it work like at wolves? Or will mr mendes pull off the biggest dumping of rubbish ever seen - at least they have something intresting over there for a change

How do you solve a problem like Gil Dias?
Nobody seems sure what to do with the Portuguese winger, and it’s very frustrating.

Lost in the celebrations about the win at AS Roma yesterday is the painfully bad display from winger Gil Dias. Brought on to provide a spark on the counter with his pace and dribbling, he instead torpedoed a pair of very promising breaks within moments of each other by getting the ball stuck under his feet while completely unmarked; to add to the indignity, Giallorossi goalkeeper Alisson beat him with a Cruyff turn a few minutes after that.

Performances like this are, sadly, not exactly surprising for the Portuguese U21 international. He’s had a few bright moments in purple—goals in each match against Hellas Verona, a wonderful solo run culminating with a drive off the post that could have put the Viola into the lead against Juventus—but more often, he seems on a completely different page than the rest of the team. He tries to dribble through the heart of the defense when a simple pass would be smarter, and then passes backward when he should try beating his marker.

Gil Dias is the only player I’ve ever seen that can’t even be made to look good on a you tube compilation ?

Very much like Razza's YouTube compilation... even the half decent dribbles end with an overhit pass!

You should really not use words that you don't understand and have very little experiance about...stick to avoiding relegation, and aiming for a top half finish, if you are feeling brave...

Do league one playoffs not count as experience?

Gil Bastiao Dias with a “value” of £17.5m

Lets hope these players they’ve signed struggle in the championship! ?? Otherwise we might be in for a “hard to watch” season.

The valuation of him according to Transfermarkt.Co.Uk is £2.7million. They're never hugely accurate but the reality is this guy is bang average and won't be in the side at Christmas. He barely played for Fiorentina. Forest are being used to launder money

Forest fan. Big fan of that site. But the valuations are always low. Take a look at Tom Lawrence’s value just before he joined Derby.....
