I think the thread should have been titled Some People to be honest because a fan wouldn’t speak to Scott Carson in that way. Now, I’m only going on reactions from previous posters there because I won’t watch it, I can’t be doing with skanks and I wouldn’t press play just to be sickened by some lowlife piece of work.

A fan would wish him the best of luck for the rest of the season and thank him for his efforts so far. Hope it made him feel good and like a big man, no doubt he’ll be recounting it to his skanky mates. The t it.

I was in the away end on Saturday and had a beer in the Beech with my Brother beforehand. Admittedly some pretty well beered up, but the vitriol and criticism of certain players and the manager that could be heard before we had even kicked a ball was truly an eye opener.

The expectation and mindset was that we were going to roll over little Burton 3-0 or 4-0 nil.

The contrast between both set of supporters was a lesson in itself. From the kick off any mistake a Burton player made there was immediate encouragement, and any mistake by a Derby player was met with howls of derision.

As those of you that have been there will testify to, the ground is compact and supporters are right on top of the players who I’m sure can hear almost everything.

Up to the 44 minute the game could have gone either way. For the record, I’ll state now that it was the Burton support that got their team over the winning line.

Hopefully our supporters can take a lesson from it and actually get behind the team v Boro.

Yes I know that some of the results in the last few months have not gone our way, and yes I understand that there is frustration among our fans. However, I am sure the majority of us agree, there is no reason at all for any fans to try and provoke our players off the pitch, especially Carson.

I am losing faith in our fanbase to be honest.

Is she Scottish , her mate seems drunk, either way I can't understand what they are saying. Having a go at Scott Carson of all people also makes no sense.

Yes the players are playing **** at the moment but no one deserves that sort of stuff leave alone Scott Carson. Where was this filmed?

The woman even had the balls to leave a little justification for herself in the comments “before everybody loses their heads you have to admit the performance  was bad on Saturday”. Shows how this “fan” cannot seem to grasp that what she did was wrong and extremely embarrassing. Hope the club take action and give her a ban of some description!!

You can’t excuse the fans’ behaviour - it’s  pathetic, beyond low, and inflammatory.

But it’s a bit daft of Carson and Forsyth to be spotted outside a casino in the city centre, which is a rough and unwelcoming place at the best of times, late at night in the aftermath of two abject performances, nil points and slipping out of the play-off places to boot.

Of course, it’s a free world and footballers are entitled to do and go wherever they please.

But if I were in their shoes, I would probably want to keep a low profile and at least give the impression I am focused on getting the team back on track after such poor results.

It’s terrible that they were treated like that but it comes with the territory of being a footballer and a public figure that you are always a target for attention, positive or negative.

Surely they can’t be too surprised?

Having seen Carson on video making that young lad’s day some weeks ago ,that wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest.

He will always be a class above the likes of them, whatever he does on a football pitch.

Jeez, that’s embarrassing, who are these traitor trash scum bags?

They’re not Rams, real Rams wouldn’t do that to SC.

Its quite obvious they are the sort who get kicks out of giving folk abuse whilst hiding behind a camera or on a computer (keyboard warrior types) Looking for some footage to gain some cash SCUM!!

I think the players, especially someone such as Scott are mature enough to realise that there are idiot fans everywhere and that's something that, dissapointingly and wrongly, they have to put up with.

Even more, I hope DCFC have the bottle to investigate and identify these idiots and ban them for a long time. That's the only true punishment which would hurt them.

Kudos to Carson for keeping his cool.  Proves yet again what a top man he is

Hah yeah he did really well. Except possibly the bit where he drunkenly headbutted the camera. And the part where he stumbled back to them to weirdly offer them some money. He's like James Bond after a Martini.

Haha that's a video of some drunk people being drunk. Nothing more surely??

Scotty looks bladdered!

Exactly what I was gonna say. Look at his eyes. Not exactly solid in his boots is he. Not condoning what abuse he got, but just a load of folk piss3d up after a bad day in Burton. Move along....

He did a hell of a lot better than I would have done, drunk or not, I'd have ripped the phone/camera away and smashed it into their face.

Sith Happens

So what if Carson and Forsyth had had a drink, it's a week until the next game. He was hardly staggering about and slurring unlike the others in the video.

There seems to be this thought that footballers should never be spotted out late or with a drink (having a life)

Most decent people regardless of having a drink or not wouldn't go up and verbally abuse them, filming them clearly hoping for some reaction.

I wouldn't know if that twitter account is fake or not, but would be good if one them there was on the forum and could be as brave as they were on Saturday and give an explanation for their actions.

Even if they are on the forum they won't do it though. Not brave enough now the alcohol levels have reduced.

You obviously didn't hear what she said though, she's spent £500 (that's 5 months child benefit) on a season ticket, surely that gives her the right to go and verbally abuse someone she doesn't know on a night out with his family and friends.

Lost count of the number of times I've got drunk and abused Rolls Royce employees for that **** flight I had to Czech Republic on a plane with one of their engines on and don't even get me started on cinema employees that I've had to give a round of ***** after paying £5 to watch Vanilla Sky.

What an absolute scumbag cretin.
