Sounds like Warnock is backing away from the "controversy" now, even admitted he'd have done the same if roles were reversed.

Probably because he knows he is in the wrong and facing a charge if he keeps up with his tirade.

To be fair to Mr Warnock, he's always had a mouth that engages well before the neurones in his pre-frontal cortex have had a chance to connect with one another. He's a likeable rogue really and has always sought to exploit an opportunity to cry "It's not fair...". Let's not be too hard on him. Just think of all those empty M4 miles he had to sit through with steam effusing from his ears. Cardiff to Derby is quite a long trek when it's an utterly futile and pointless waste of time. In this day and age of Sky Sports, mobile phones, Wi-Fi, iClouds et cetera, et cetera, I can't believe nobody bothered to give him a call at 8:35 and say "Neil, It's off!".

He really isn't.

Warwick is on talksport next, for goodness sake.

The only reason this story continues to run is that it's a slow news week due to the international break.

Yawn!

Following Alan Brazil asking on air for NW to call live and give his thoughts about snowgate on Monday mornings show.  Joey Barton stated that it would be unfair and one sided without interaction with GR or DCFC on Talksport and questioned AB of his reasoning.

It all seems way too one sided this debacle, I hope the club have shown some balls behind the scenes and issued NW and their Chairman with a legal letter DEMANDING!! a written public apology or we will sue the **** out of you Warnock for slander and you Chairman (whatever your name is) for Liable.

Time to grow some Derby ????????

What do they expect from Derby? What kind of statement could the club possibly make to shut them up? Probably nothing we could say to stop them now, they’ve got way beyond the point of backing down because they’ve made such a stupid circus of it. I also think their owners are trying to ingratiate themselves to the fans - who lets not forget were campaigning against them in the not too distant past.

Thing is...it's a snow storm in a tea cup. Sometimes you win the argument by staying quiet whilst the fools rage and shout from the roof tops and duly paint themselves into a corner...

Exactly, DCFC have conducted themselves with integrity while others around them have acted in an appalling way.

Conditions were improving though.

Had the kick off time time been delayed the game would have gone ahead.

games do not get called off because fans may have difficulty getting home.

not looking for an argument but it’s a fact

When did you know conditions were going to improve or get worse?

With the possible exception of invites to dine at The Yard and then promptly closing it ,a cynic might ask questions around that . Match off but restaurant open?

It takes a lot less staff to run a bar and doubt the footfall would have been circa 25k

That's because the Yard is a beautiful British measurement, stout and hardy.

If they called it the Metre, it would still be shut now.

Presumably The Yard and Club Shop are separate entities to the matchday operation, so if staff are there and ready to serve then why not make a few quid? Yeah it ends up looking a bit silly but business is business.

Correct me if I’m wrong but the bar and restaurant staff don’t steward the matches.

I’ve spoken to some of the pitch control guys who are contracted to steward the matches, they are not local. One who regularly stands in front of us is from Telford.

Why are so many insisting on ignoring the point that without enough safety stewards no sporting event is allowed to take place?
