It'll go either of 2 ways:

1. He will be a fans favourite who scores goals, shows his skill and arrogant attitude, or,

2. Struggles in his first 2 months and is better known round town for his attendance at Hooters every night.

Prepare for something daft to come out of his mouth before the first Derby.

Barca to resign Gerard Deulofeu from Everton for £10.5m say the Telegraph. One question, why?

Might be a case of sign for sell. maybe there's a club interested at lets say £18 mill, so barca could easily make £7million from him

An intriguing signing by Liverpool.

It'll be interesting to see where Salah fits into Liverpool's thinking, especially if Coutinho and Sturridge stay, as they will have seven players vying to fill four advanced positions and all seven will consider themselves worthy of being a starter.

I don't think this one signing will elevate them into title contention. It certainly will complement the existing group if they plan to have a fluid attack with a counter attacking style. Salah looks very quick, very direct, a composed finisher and someone who comes alive in the box. His record in Serie A is very impressive but it'll be interesting to see how that translates when he comes up against a better and more evenly spread standard of defending.

For me, Liverpool still need three or four quality additions to become serious title contenders, which will be difficult because they don't have the same spending power or the same lure as Chelsea, Man City or Man Utd. They are shopping in different markets.

At the very least, they are crying out for a centre back to play alongside Matip and of course a left back because you can only get away with playing Milner at left back for so long.

The midfield also seems an essential area to address too, especially so if they revert to 4-2-3-1, as they surely have to bring in someone to play alongside Emre Can and this has to be a strong, mobile and well-rounded player who can contribute in both boxes and most of all take any defensive burden off Coutinho allowing him to pull the strings. Wijnaldum is too forward thinking to play in a midfield two and Henderson is too average if Liverpool want to push on, let's be honest.

They could also do with a new goalkeeper. I am not sure Karius or Mignolet represent Liverpool's future. But perhaps they will soldier on.

It's a big summer for Klopp if he wants to truly move Liverpool forward.
