Dale The Ram Posted April 10, 2017 Share Posted April 10, 2017 I don't really get where the Kietfenbeld suggestions have come from I think David Davies is a much better player when I've seen him. As far as I'm concerned Wisdom is a must buy in the summer but I think we desperately need to invest in a premier league quality LW, someone like Montero or get a loan like Lookman or Musonda. I think if Hughes goes we need to ivest that money very wisely, I would like to see us get a few quality players in rather than a load of average players. There aren't too many better central midfielders in the Championship than Stevens. Personally i would also look at loan signings. We need to gamble on a young hungry, strong pacey goal scorer. If we go for a premiership/championship striker then we end up paying stupid money. We want Stephens, he's been massively important to us but he hasn't signed a new deal. Burnley wanted him last summer so he could go there and it wouldn't surprise me if other Premier League sides fancied him on a free. Stockdale I assume we would want but there's been no media around his situation at all. Assume club have offered and he's keeping his options open. Bong/Sidwell could possibly do a job although I think we'll be looking to strengthen both positions so could get pushed down the pecking order and perhaps move on. He's a big time knob if he leaves for another bottom five PL club, particularly Burnley, he's an even bigger knob if he even considered joining us for one second.
